Azael keeps on saying the same thing "losing early game in all their games" everytime he casts C9 its weird, they weren't even losing that hard. Even at the end here he further emphasize that they "fell further behind n relies on capitalizing opponents mistakes in river fights". Apart from the TL game, they were always in full control early game and already stacking drakes very early. They didn't even need to rely on mistakes, even if opponents don't make major mistakes, they were still auto-winning from all the drakes eventually.
I disagree. In all three of their previous games, they have fallen behind pre 10. Obviously to different degrees, but the first kills have gone to their opponents all three games, and they lose out and turtle on the map. In both the first two games they played, they only turned the tables at the first dragon fight which is what Azael references.
Them winning the drake fight and therefore taking drakes isn't as much of a matter of their early control, rather is the mistake of the opponents to contest objectives during inopportune times given the difference of champions and team comp, and in GG's case, a mechanical misshap from Lost etc
@@quentinnguyen9120 Game 1 vs GG they had first 2 drakes uncontested by 12+ mins. Despite being down 2k. Ivern already had Moonstone by 13mins, they were totally in a winning state with their comp. The Lost mishap was due to no vision, it was only his E in that brush. Yuumi was also at fault for not facechecking it instead as she was relatively healthy. Lets say if that Ace didn't occur, the opponent were forced to contest future drakes which they would lose or just bleed out by not contesting which was exactly what they did. Game 2 vs EG, they actually fought at first drake at around 8 mins, and at that point they were only down like 900g, 1-2 in kills. How is that falling very behind? If u check their comms, they weren't even trying to bait a fight at first, they were just trying to take the drake thats all. Its just that EG came to fight, how is that relying on opponents mistakes to win? If they don't contest, they lose in the end anyways like what happened after. Both games they were simply focused on securing drakes and fighting when opponents come to contest. EG only really contested the first drake and elder. GG didn't even bothered, that river fight wasn't even for drakes btw. They weren't relying on opponents to mess up, they were just simply playing the permanent stats from objectives game and overpower them later with their comp. Getting drakes so easily despite being down some gold? Absolute winning state and in control.

Games like this show why c9 is worse than last year. Last years split they won off of skill, this year they're winning off of drafting. They'll be exposed in major competitions where teams can beat them in 20 mins. The quality of their team dropped individually.
Of course they will get stomped, but at the moment they are just trying to grab the wins they need for playoffs where it matters the most. At the same time LS is trying to prove a point by drafting like this. Pro teams have always followed the same drafting recipe for years. Barely any risks, get the meta picks, play slow until 40, win a teamfight and job done, go next. At least currently C9 is giving the viewers something to consider. Do we want to see the same old boring comps game after game with different usernames on the screen? Or do we want some entertaining games with diverse picks, diverse play styles and team comps that you barely see in solo queue?
Of course they are worse, right now ,they have bottom that never played competitively before, autofill mid, they have been playing together for like a week only. But their ceiling is so much higher. Just look how well they are playing right now. Give them time and they can reach level of play never seen in LCS
@@NauarchosHere this draft did a good job of disarming the opposing team but there is a strong argument that it doesn't work unless IMT just blows cooldowns.
People take too much damage in drafts imo. If you can still kill the enemy team with this much utility then there is too much damage in the game. All damage and no utility is the fastest way to lose teamfights.
you know LS really doesnt trust his solo lanes putting mid on perma enchanter duty and summit is now off the carry role as well after the poor performances in the last 3 games
It's not really about trust. It's about what is strong right now. enchanters are stupid strong...which they always were just apparently everyone forgot and that was an ad heavy team with no escapes which malphite takes care of very well. It's just a smart counter pick.
Fudge literally played irelia yesterday and Summit has not been performing poorly, the focus wasn't on him in those games as they were playing around Berserker and Blaber. His worst game was the camille game but he was counterpicked.

because he actually plays the game and knows that enchanters taking over is stupid. It's a very low skilled play style and fudge was bming while he is only playing them. Find a soloq player who won't be tilted by it.
That's not to say fudge is low skill. he seems pretty good but who knows.
I think a caster showing their human side isn't a bad thing as long as it doesn't happen too often, it shows they're passionate about what they do.
I thought Phreak was just mimicking the fudge haters tbh
@@figrolls_aaron176 same tbh phreak gets too much hate (in wrestling terms, Fudge is doing a heel turn after being a babyface last year so phreak is leaning into that) better having "biased" casters to stoke intrest than just emotionless, unmotivated play-by-play.
If you want dry (also good) analysis, you can get that from that Oracle's Elixir guy (also a good content creator! Just saying)
C9 fan btw
Lmao LS telling summit what runes to do on malphite
The draft music quicky as hell! I kinda like it doe. 😳😳😳
i feel kinda bad for imt they were HUUUGE draft gapped LMAO
cloud 9 draft just has an overwhelming amout of utility. ;/
Usually not a Phreak fan, however he made this game so enjoyable. The other caster, tho.... smh
35:31 lmaooooooooooooooooooooooooo
Its ok fudge. You are nowhere close to bjerg.
phreak really has a hard-on for pretending to know the game better than anyone else. dude needs to relax
he isn't pretending though. He knows a lot about the game and has been doing the job for what? a decade now?
@@hinro Right.....
his personality aside, he is the person to get the patch statistics from, his patch rundowns go into detail on how much the buffs and nerfs affect actual damage at each level. So in essence phreak is the guy to look for if you're interested in the numbers in the game.
He does know, this guy is a veteran in the scene.
@@XGifuX I know already that it's right. thanks for the confirmation though ^.^
REMEBER imt destroyed 100t lmao and c9 then sweeps imt lmao
Lol what the malphite
TAKE ME TO CHURCH
Wow
Fudge 35:30 the disrespect 🤣😂
they've really gotta ditch the masks, such a bad take.
LS gap BatChest
as someone who just recently started watching pro scene on league the commentators not really a fan especially that one guy that keeps on going about like oh this item sucks why do that and such and i am just bruh just cast don't go full on rant
fudge factor
NA Jayce kekw
world jayce.
@@NauarchosHere youre acting like he picks fun picks. he picks enchanters, the most boring of champions to watch
@@kingwrongs why you mad though?
Haven’t watched the game yet just saw the draft and C9 has so little damage it’s gross.
Thoughts on draft after watching the game?
we need more of your expert opinion :)
We need more people like you.
The objective is to have a team that wins against opposing team nothing else matters in league
That's got nothing to do with the way he drafts
The keyword here is experimenting
It's not really about trust. It's about what is strong right now. enchanters are stupid strong...which they always were just apparently everyone forgot and that was an ad heavy team with no escapes which malphite takes care of very well. It's just a smart counter pick.
Fudge literally played irelia yesterday and Summit has not been performing poorly, the focus wasn't on him in those games as they were playing around Berserker and Blaber. His worst game was the camille game but he was counterpicked.
What's with this music , it felt like I went to church Xd
