This is greatness. Stevie Ray channeled his soul through his fingers to his guitar. He is a super star!!!! A true legend!!! A humble man who had a gift to share with the world. I'm just sorry his life was cut short, but we are so fortunate to have these videos and his music. Stevie Ray you are a sweet wonder and sorely missed. ❤❤❤❤ Kaye

SRV could make the guitar sing, cry, scream, and as we saw in the middle of this video he could also make it whisper.

There’s nothing to say, but it’s all real. He never gets old. The music scene in Austin was never the same after he died. Thank you for showing us what’s possible, Stevie. Peace, love, and beauty.

It’s simple. SRV was the GOAT.
He could not read music. He played mostly with his eyes closed. This performance was done without a pick on the heaviest strings - he played on .13 gauge strings! He preferred the rich sound they gave. It also helped keep him from breaking strings.
I read that they said Billy Ray went to the crossroads. They didn’t know what HE got, but the devil got guitar lessons!
Eric Clapton said he was a direct conduit the music came through. Hearing/seeing him made people want to pick up the guitar and players put the guitar down.
    RIP SRV.

Stevie was so incredible that he made it hard to be impressed by other guitarists---no matter how good they were. He was also a person of tremendous humility and kindness, and overcame a horrendous addiction to alcohol and cocaine. What a legacy he left!

Epic! The GOAT! Great reaction brother! I think you would like the group 'Rush'. The lead singer plays bass guitar. Also some blues guitarists I KNOW you'll love: Gary Moore, Albert Collins, Joe Bonamassa.

Love everything Stevie played. His band "Double Trouble" was Tommy Shannon on bass and Chris Layton on drums (later, he added Reese Wynans on keyboards). Besides playing behind his back, Stevie could also play with his teeth (Jimi Hendrix could do both of those things too). SRV passed away in a helicopter crash in 1990 going from one show to another; he was 35, so sad. Please react to his song "Life Without You." It's so fire!

I’ve been a fan of his for decades and was lucky enough to have had the privilege of seeing him perform twice! I could suggest songs/videos/performances all the live long day lol.

Check out ," life without you " 1985 capitol theater NJ. SRV never disappoints ! Notice guitar swap and broken tooth ! I also suggest Lynyrd Skynyrd - " freebird" knebworth U.k.
Queen- bohemian rhapsody official remastered version
    And Chris Stapleton- Tennessee whiskey!

He worked on the shit since he was 6 years old. He did all that when he was 10. He worked 7 day's a week 365 day's a year for 7 hour's a day. He paid his due's. He had Inch holes in his finger's 👋 from playin' 13 gage string's. Them 13's carry the tone which was everything to Stevie. He was a Trick Guitar Player 🎸 ❤ he was my brother. ❤ I miss em everyday. My brother was everything to me. Love my Jimbo 2.❤❤

Hey bud, first time to your channel. Super cool reaction. You did it right keeping yourself big and the video small, occasionally commenting. I see alot of people putting on sunglasses, walking away from the camera, turning their heads, so on and so forth. You're easy to watch. I grew up in this area and got to see this stuff first hand. It's so cool to see someone react that's never experienced it. You would've love growing up when I did. You seem like you would've been in my group growing up. I think you should check out "hocus Pocus " by the band "Focus" 1971 or 3. Dutch band, the lead guitar was said to be one of the best in the world at the time. I'm going to subscribe to see if you do it. Cheers, later.
