It took me many years to realize that the Eucarist is in fact our Lord Jesus. When it all became real, WOW!! It has never been the same, beautiful. I can't wait to return to receive the Eucarist. It is life, love, peace, beautiful relationship with Jesus, hope, encouragement, strength, fulfillment, rest, on and on. Simply beyond beautiful....

I had a revelation in Church one Sunday. I was praying before communion asked God to send the Holy Spirit to me. I said I am your servant God use as you will. Well when I got up to go to communion I felt a bolt like an electrical snap. I started shaking, my stomach started flip flopping, my palms started sweating, I felt as if it was the first time I was ever going up to communion. I couldn't look at the crucifix without crying, when I got up there I felt I should fall to my knees in reverence for my Lord. I felt WOW what he did for me, how died for my sins and now I have the HONOR of receiving him. WOW!!! I went back to the pew and cried I couldn't stop... it was amazing. He is present in Eucharist and we are so blessed to be able to receive him every single day of our lives!!! What a Blessing to be Catholic!!!!!!

You SUBMITTED TO THE LORD.. That is why as you asked he watched into your heart and gave you the Grace of the Holy Spirit.. This is what should happen at our CRESIMA/CONFIRMATION but I have never been told to submit and ask for Gesus. Anyway now you are BORN AGAIN cause by submitting to the Father and accepting the Lord as your Savior you became a SERVANT but after you received the Holy Spirit you are ALSO A SOLDIER NOW.
Study the Gifts of the Holy Spirit and pray to receive the one that is needed to you to accomplish your Mission on Earth. ASK TO THE HOLY SPIRIT TO GIVE YOU THE Discernment to understand your Mission. Honor your body purifying it cause it is The Temple of The Living God our Lord Saviour by your participation to the Eucharesty and this allow you to abide the Holy Spirit. By this you can do all it is done by that BUT DO IT EXCLUSIVELY "IN THE HEAVENLY FATHER'S WILL AND GLORY AND IN JESUS'S NAME, AMEIN" OR WHATEVER YOU WILL HAVE ASJED WILL GO SYOLEN BY THE ENEMY AND YOU WOULD RISCK EVEN TO LOOSE YOUR SOUL BY HAVING ASKED TO THE WRONG ONE AND UNWILLINGLY SIGNED AND AGREEMENT WITH HIM.
It is massively important that the Holy Mass will be deepened into the Blood of Jesus which protect from EVERYTHING.
It is massively important that the Priest blessing the Mass and the Juice will ask the protection not only of himself and the Catholic Church but if all the discepols.. ..
The words have to be spoken clearly or the ritual would be deceived by the Enemy.
The Holy Eucharesty is directly linked not only to the Last Supper but to the Miracle of Salvation on the Cross.
If you can.. Never miss The Holy Mass.. And pray meditate on the Mystere of the Christ's Passion fasting the weekly days of the Passion.
Love the Holy Mother.. Cause our Lord loved Her. She isn't aiming to detract discepols from the Father or the Son.. Even our Lord always referred to the Father..
      Do not believe anything different.
Our Lord is the Way to the Father and His creative power in action the Holy Spirit, our Lady is the way to the Lord. Lord Jesus is the Live of the Father for His Creation.
LOVE AND POWER IN ACTION HAVE BEEN GENERATED BY SPLIT FROM THE FATHER SO THEY ARE THE FATHER TOO, and this is the HOLY TRINITY.
The Saints are the Colonels in the hyerarchy of the Holy Army.. As Lucifer and Satan have their own demons. The fight against demons is real. The Spiritual realm lacks into the psychological which lacks in the phisical.. Everything is connected and real.. The reality is not monodimentional but 3dimentional.
Mental illness is only the 5%of what diagnosed.. By live and respect listening the other ones real needs and meeting it the mental illness will desappeared.
But watch out from any TRAUMA cause from there starts the Narcissism that cold the heart feelings and emotions reducing the human being to insensitive even criminals. Each wound has to be healed sistematically to avoid layering of many. The healing can be only staying with the sorrow and grieving and mourning it.
We should schedule daily time to heal our wounds as wellbeing practice aside the prayers.
Be blessed so I ask in the Heavenly Father's Will and Glory ONLY, in Jesus's Name, Amein, Amein, Amein!!!

@@AJ_Jingco No. While the fullness of the symbol is receiving the host (bread.body) and the cup (wine/blood), the constant teaching of the Church is that in any tiny part of EITHER the host or cup is contained the body, blood, soul & divinity of Jesus Christ.

Helloooo, when I receive the Holy Eucharist, I don't even have to believe any lab test about the real presence of Jesus Christ; I'm given this grace to more than believe it. Just gazing at the Host when praying or receiving, I feel Jesus' presence thru my veins into my heart and mind and whole being. I commune with Him and thank Him for my living faith.

I was a cradle Catholic, but now because of praying the Holy Rosary it led me to confession, (after a long time) and now I spend time in the Blessed Sacrament for hours. Most of all turn away from my sins.Still sin, but I always feel convicted and repent through confession.

    • @Charity-vm4bt
      @Charity-vm4bt 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

Tessa, this is a beautiful testimony. Once you were baptized, you had the clearing away of Original Sin already deep in your soul. That purification never left you. That was explained to me in Catholic education based on the Baltimore Catechism and got me through many difficulties in life. The term "cradle Catholic" began to be used in RCIA as false modesty to make unbaptized people feel "comfortable." But the expression is a slur against people who have been baptized as infants. It is an insult. Catholic Baptism is a sacrament normally administered by a priest. It bestows on the soul a character that washes away Original Sin. A Catholic ALWAYS has that permanent character. It is deep in the "subconscious." Catholics do not articulate it. We live it. That is why statements can be made such as the one above against Catholics. It is an unwitting lack of respect for Catholics who are made of "sterner stuff."
The Rosary is supposed to lead us to Jesus. Once we are in the Presence, then we are communing with Him, so we can put the beads away. That is why a Rosary should be prayed only before Mass. Not after. Because when the Eucharist is in us, that is a very intimate time with Our Lord. Happy 2019.

I still make mistakes but always return to the faith Jesus called me to.

Why do you have to take your whole family to confession? All you need is a bedside to kneel in prayer to the Lord and ask him to forgive you of your sins you don't need a priest The Bible says so

    • @Ruudes1483
      @Ruudes1483 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

@@timsgtaWrong, as soon as Jesus rose from the dead and earned salvation for us, he brought his apostles a new gift. After speaking peace to them, he said, “As the Father has sent me, even so I send you” (John 20:21). Just as Jesus was sent by the Father to reconcile the world to God, Jesus sent the apostles to continue his mission.
Jesus then breathed on the apostles. This is a verse that is often passed over, but it has extraordinary significance because it is only the second time in all of Scripture where God breathes on anyone. The other instance was at the moment of creation, when God breathed his own life into the nostrils of Adam. This should tell us that something of great importance is taking place. Upon doing this, Jesus said, “Receive the Holy Spirit. If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven; if you retain the sins of any, they are retained” (John 20:22-23).
Notice that Jesus is not simply commissioning the apostles to preach about God’s forgiveness. He is not saying, “Go tell everyone that when God forgives men’s sins, they’re forgiven.” In using the second person plural you, Jesus is telling his apostles that by the power of the Holy Spirit he has given them the power to forgive and retain the sins of men. Having the power to forgive and to retain sins implies that the apostle knows what a person’s sins are, which in turn implies oral confession. Otherwise, how is the apostle to know what to retain or forgive?
In the same way that Jesus gave his apostles other supernatural powers (such as raising men from the dead), he gave them power to absolve sins (raising them from spiritual death). In Matthew 9, we read that Jesus forgave a paralytic and then healed him so “that you may know that the Son of man has authority on earth to forgive sins” (Matt. 9:6)
After he exercised this power as a man, the crowds glorified God for having given “such authority to men” (Matt. 9:8, emphasis added). Notice that Matthew indicates this power to forgive sins had been given to men, and not simply to a man.

I think Jesus knew that by coming to us in the humble forms of bread and wine, He would not only comfort us in His familiarity through everyday substances, but also risk our taking His Gift as no great moment. We can pray for one another, for those who don't see Him, that they open their hearts to Our Lord, Who waits patiently at every closed door, and knocks.

When we live fully for the Lord our lives are complete
I believe strongly in the right of a priest to refuse communion to anyone they truly believe is living in mortal sin. A priest maintains and protects the faith and shepherds the flock. Unfortunately some in my catholic bible group feel we need to show compassion and inclusivity through the sharing of the Eucharist even with those living in mortal sin. This video shows how Jesus brings His presence and suffering and the pouring of His love to us in the Eucharist
God bless keep up the good work for the Lord

You probably didn't read all of Matthew 16... Matthew 16:21-22 "22 Then Peter took him, and began to rebuke him, saying, Be it far from thee, Lord: this shall not be unto thee.
23 But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men."
Oh no! Jesus called old pope Peter, Satan... Even though the word 'pope' does not appear a single time anywhere in the King James Holy Bible...

Ella, God bless you. Read the Bible and let it speak to your heart. 'Ministry of 'reconciliation' and so many others lost to their "biblical intelligence", let it speak to 'intellect' which comes of course from the abomination. Which is what the abomination exactly wants, to keep you from consuming the Body and Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ in the Blessed and Holy Eucharist. No matter what men do within the Church, in the end Our Lady's Immaculate Heart will triumph for the Bride, the Church of St. Peter. Insults, "intellect", blasphemy from the 'enlightened' only draws one further from the truth which they don't even realize we pray diligently for- for the souls of purgatory through Divine Mercy. I'm so happy for you!!

Wow! The Eucharist is TRULY the body, blood, soul and divinity of Jesus! I have believe this for a very long time...simply from reading scripture but this explanation and presentation is astounding and should go a long way to convince the doubters. I love his quote "act like an evangelical and think like a Catholic"...I am a convert and I am involved deeply in ministry in my parish. Most of the people deeply involved in ministry in our parish are converts. I am thankful for my evangelical roots...I came to know Jesus through that part of my journey BUT when I decided to probe a little deeper...I found myself surprised by some truths and couldn't help but crawl home to the Catholic Church! I pray God blesses the mission of this brother in Christ...EVERY person needs to hear this message!

John 6:54 Whosoever eats my flesh, and drinks my blood, has eternal life...
John 6:55 For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed...
John 6:56 He that eats my flesh, and drinks my blood...
      More context might help...
      John 6
Everyone who listens to my Father and learns from him comes to me. 46 Not that anyone has seen the Father except the one who is from God; he has seen the Father. 47 Amen, amen, I say to you, whoever believes has eternal life. 48 I am the bread of life. 49 Your ancestors ate the manna in the desert, but they died; 50 this is the bread that comes down from heaven so that one may eat it and not die. 51 I am the living bread that came down from heaven; whoever eats this bread will live forever; and the bread that I will give is my flesh for the life of the world.”
52 The Jews quarreled among themselves, saying, “How can this man give us [his] flesh to eat?” 53 Jesus said to them, “Amen, amen, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you do not have life within you. 54 Whoever eats[s] my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him on the last day. 55 For my flesh is true food, and my blood is true drink. 56 Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me and I in him. 57 Just as the living Father sent me and I have life because of the Father, so also the one who feeds on me will have life because of me. 58 This is the bread that came down from heaven. Unlike your ancestors who ate and still died, whoever eats this bread will live forever.” 59 These things he said while teaching in the synagogue in Capernaum.
60 Then many of his disciples who were listening said, “This saying is hard; who can accept it?” 61 Since Jesus knew that his disciples were murmuring about this, he said to them, “Does this shock you? 62 What if you were to see the Son of Man ascending to where he was before? 63 It is the spirit that gives life, while the flesh is of no avail. The words I have spoken to you are spirit and life. 64 But there are some of you who do not believe.” Jesus knew from the beginning the ones who would not believe and the one who would betray him. 65 And he said, “For this reason I have told you that no one can come to me unless it is granted him by my Father.”
66 As a result of this, many [of] his disciples returned to their former way of life and no longer accompanied him. 67 Jesus then said to the Twelve, “Do you also want to leave?” 68 Simon Peter answered him, “Master, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. 69 We have come to believe and are convinced that you are the Holy One of God.”

SmithsnMoz -- Vatican II authorized the ministry of Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist. I receive our Lord from the priest, on the tongue, kneeling where possible. However, this is my own devotion, and not something critical of the Church or my neighbors. When the changes were instituted, my aunts and uncles were talking about it on the first Sunday that it was practiced in all of our parishes (we were at my grandma and grandpas for Sunday dinner, after attending our own parish Mass). I was very small, but some of them must have complained about it, because my grandfather adamantly ended the discussion by saying, "The Church says this is the Mass, so it's the Mass." That taught me an important lesson, may God look kindly on my grandfather's soul for this. I was only small, and had never heard of Protestantism, but I immediately understood that we are not to protest against the Church. At an immature level, I understood that my aunts and uncles were coming up with some of their own ideas, and the conversation had become heated because egos were involved. At 8 years of age, I recognized "I'm right you're wrong" as a self-centered thing. Even though some of them had been arguing for bringing back the old Mass, it was for their own reasons, because of how the Mass made them feel. Some of them just didn't like having to learn anything new. (There were some 26 or more aunts and uncles present, you can't tell me my grandpa wasn't a good Catholic - more than half of them were his own children). Later, as I became aware of Protestantism, I understood that different men at different periods of history had sought to reform the Church to their own understanding of Christianity. I also understood that Jesus instructed His disciples and anointed certain men to lead, and that their successors received certain gifts - and authority - from the Holy Spirit that the ordinary baptized don't have. This is how my grandfather understood the Church was led. This is how we know that when the Magisterium establishes practices and refines Dogma, it is the Word of God speaking, and obedience to the Church and the Magisterium is obedience to God. It was only recently that I learned that my grandfather was a convert from a Protestant sect. He died in 1980 and I never had a clue until my dad or someone mentioned it. It really gave more impact to the lesson he taught me about obedience to the Church. He was a staunch and faithful Catholic to his dying breath. I don't get that sense of fidelity from the people who complain about Vatican II.

i was watching this last night because i'm studying why catholic have the Eucharist everyday also i was preparing for my lesson with the Jehovah Witness today. i felt asleep and at 3.18am i woke up. i said a prayer to thank Jesus for dying on the cross to save the world and i pray for the souls in the purgatory then i listen to this again. i carried on studied the Eucharist and read the bible. i drifted to sleep and then i went into a spiritual warfare. it wasn't the first time i have been in a spiritual warfare but this time its worse and i was in a great battle. i felt the presence of evil spirits then i say the saint Michael prayer twice but it seems to disappear and come back stronger. i believe saint michael was fighting against evil but they refused to leave me alone. then i said the hail mary. when i said hail i felt my mouth froze like someone is trying to shut my mouth because demons didn't want to hear Mary's name. so i kept on saying the hail mary with grind teeth. i said like five hail mary and then demons left me. i heard the door close and i felt peace then i drifted to sleep again. i am happy that their are now people who evangelise our faith.

Not far from me here in Dublin, we have 1 of many adoration Chapels in which we can get confession, take part in the Mass and sit with our Lord from morning til night-Its so amazing to do all on the 1 day starting with confession. THE HAIR STANDS ON THE BACK OF MY HEAD IN WONDER & AWE.. When we are at Mass we are partaking in the fulfilment of Mal 1:11, and the wedding feast of the Lamb, that is spoke about so much in scripture, Jesus speaks of it-We see in Revelation Christ weds the Church-and the HOLY HOLY HOLY in Revelation which is said non stop in revelation, before God. Well we are sitting in and taking part in this wedding feast-AND WERE INVITED, AS WITHOUT GRACE WE WOULD NOT HAVE CAME TO MASS. AND AS THE MASS IS SAID EVERY SECOND OF THE DAY SOMEWHERE IN THE WORLD-Mal 1:11. Amazingly Beautiful

Raphael Michael, is it not an WONDER to behold Him in the Sacrament?! I have only sorrow for the number of Churches here in the U.S. who offer Adoration--on occasion.. The one I attend, thankfully with a new priest who I lovingly call Fr. "Old School," instituted a daily Adoration from morning to night and allowing Rosary devotions to Our Lady of Fatima and the Sacred Heart. The Mystery of the Eucharist through near daily adoration has opened something of amazement to my own soul. This is a hard world full of sin, my own included, but when I sit in front of Him on my knees and reflect on poor King David's psalm 51; I remember that although my sin is always before me, unlike poor David, the one who conquered it and the world's beating heart of Love and Mercy is before me;) God bless!! Must leave you now, He waits!!!

It is sad that the church is so divided between East and West, liberal and conservative, progressive and traditional. It is sad that there was so much vandalism of beautiful churches, altars and communion railings in the sixties and seventies falsely done in the name of Vatican 2. It has been sad seeing so many good priests accused falsely of sexual assault and removed from ministry and thrown under the bus. May the Eucharist bring unity and healing to the mystical body of Christ.

I was baptized catholic, but brought up protestant! Ten years ago, I became a cahtolic and took the RCIA classes, as I was prepared to marry a catholic! I am still wating for to get married, becoming despared at times! I had difficulty that the bread and the wine was actually the body and blood of Christ! About 5 years ago, the scare of the virus around the world, the priest was not passing out the wine, I felt bad and thought that I was not getting the full eucharist! With this miracle of Buenos Aires, I am now believing that it is true, and I have to believe it is the blood and body of Christ! Thanks for allowing us to view this video! Theresa, I remember being at Mass about to receive the Body and Blood of Our Lord, when my husband (not religious at all) said--"there are a lot of Africans in this Church, don't take the "wine;". (At the time, Ebola had been brought to our city from a Liberian and people were very scared), after a sweet voice within me said, "this is the Blood of Christ", I looked at him and said, "are you nuts?! I am going to get a cold, let alone Ebola from my Saviour????!!" It was then I knew deep in my soul that the Body and Blood of Our Lord is where we are grafted and lovingly consecrated through Him to our Father Abraham the covenant from God to Him that his children will number the grains of sand:)

How is it POSSIBLE that these scientifically-verified, signs are happening and people outside the Catholic Church don't know?? I know a lot of Protestants who love God too, and I'm pretty sure that like me they heard of the stigmata in passing, but NEVER heard about the actual human blood and flesh deal with the Eucharist.I mean I knew that's what Catholics believed about the Eucharist, but I had NO idea that this was a REAL thing. I've met so many Protestants in my 63 years as a Catholic, who have no idea what the Catholic Church teaches or what Catholics believe. They have a zillion lies that they have been told and believe, but very rarely will I find an honest Protestant who doesn't believe these lies they've been told all of their life.
Sadly, in the past 20 years or so on social media, the lies continue. The truth is out there, and for the last 1,989 years has been out there for anyone to honestly seek with an open mind and open heart.

    Why convert to Catholicism?
A series of Divine Interventions led me to the RCC - but before my conversion those Heavenly Interventions gave reason to many questions, praying endlessly and much research and study. I did not convert immediately, but spent 4 years studying Catholicism on a daily bases before the ultimate conversion.
I converted on June 25, 2016 and I’m amazed at the many stories (experiences) of converts to the Catholic Faith - some similar to mine.
Five important factors which led me to believe that the Catholic Church is the Only One True Church founded by Christ Himself are:
FIRST: - Supernatural encounters with Angels guided me - the Holy Spirit was at work. WHY? I was determined to know the truth because I want to be with the HOLY FAMILY and all the SAINTS.
SECOND: - Jesus is the founder, highly revered and at the centre of every Holy Mass conducted in the Catholic Church.
THIRD: - I HAVE A MOTHER I’VE NEVER KNOWN: The world must know of our mother we’ve been deprived of:
She’s been kept from me for sixty years while being a protestant; as well as millions around the Globe. I knew she existed in the past, but not in the present. What was told to me was that she is not so important and is among the dead.
She is not dead but is alive and intercedes for us - there cannot be a more perfect intercessor than a mother who knows her child better than any other.
FORTH: - The Holy Eucharist - Jesus is present in the Most Holy Eucharist through the act of Transubstantiation. The Eucharist becomes the actual Flesh and Blood of Jesus after being Blest by an authorized Catholic Priest - NEVER symbolic (consubstantiation). I’m excited every day to have the Grace to partake of the real Body and Blood of our Lord.
FITH: - After studying the Catechism of the Catholic Church - with the help of an Online Tutor I can truthfully confirm that its contents are completely Biblical when correctly understood.
The religion I belonged to before my conversion to Catholicism was the New Apostolic Church (NAC), and they are International. I was a very active member and minister, and dedicated sixty years of my life to the NAC. I can honestly say that I esteem the NAC because of their high standard of Heavenly teaching; well at least the NAC in the country from where I come - South Africa (SA). The NAC and the RCC has many similarities, but the fullness of the Truth is found in the Catholic Church.
Remember that all Christian religions throughout Christian history are offshoots of the One True Church - the Catholic Church. Many religions are offshoots of other religions that are offshoots of the Church Christ founded (RCC). When you continue following those offshoot threads; it will eventually lead them to the Mother of all churches - The Catholic Church.

Sunday congregation for 3 masses exceeds 1,500-2,000. So you need some powerful orator. That's what I need, nothing else. Whatever our faith in Christ counts.

On the night he was betrayed, Jesus took bread, blessed bread, broke bread, and handed out bread and said *"this is My Body."* Throughout the history of Christianity, Heretics have always maintained Jesus meant *"This is NOT My Body."* At the Bread of Life Discourse, Jesus tells the disciples about the BREAD of LIFE and it was rejected by the very first Protestants in John 6:66. At the Last Supper Jesus distinguishes between the Bread that is His Body from the bread that is not His Body. Jesus gives ordinary unblessed and unconsecrated bread to one who should have left with the other disciples in John 6:66. By the very hand of Christ Jesus, Judas is given that ordinary bread which, by the very Red Letter Words, He says to the Apostles, and to us: 26 Jesus answered, *“It is the one to whom I will give this piece of bread when I have dipped it in the dish.”* Then, dipping the piece of bread, he gave it to Judas, the son of Simon Iscariot. 27 As soon as Judas took the bread, Satan entered into him. That is ordinary bread which is a reminder that even at the Institution of the Holy Eucharist there was treachery at the Lords table when you do not discern the Body and Blood of Christ in a worthy manner, they will eat and drink judgment on themselves. .

The Lord be with this man for his witness to the Truth that is the Holy Eucharist. Christ is Risen is the Gospel and the proper adoration and consumption of the Body and Blood is part of our salvation. Paul warns that death may be a consequence of partaking in this communion without properly understanding the Holiness of communion. Those who didn't believe this truth can be found in John 6:66.

Why did Jesus send His anointed disciples out to preach to the nations, baptizing in the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit? Why is the OT still part of the Bible? Why was Jesus born of a virgin? Why did God want to become one of us? It says He so loved the world that He sent His only Son, but what does that mean? Why did Jesus die? Why was that sacrifice necessary? How did it free us from sin?

I believe in Jesus. I believe the testimony of the New Testament apostles and of the Old Testament prophets. I was saved through trusting in the word of God. I don't NEED some bleeding statue to bolster up my faith. If your faith is based on a bleeding statue, even if it's real, instead of the crucified and risen Christ, then your faith is based on sinking sand. Jesus said "A wicked and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, but none will be given it except the sign of Jonah", Mt 16:4. In other words, Jonah represents the death, burial and resurrection of Christ. I believe the words of Matthew, Mark, Luke, John and Paul. The risen Christ is my Lord, based on the testimony of His disciples. If you believe in a weeping state, if that's the foundation of your faith, just remember what is written, "Jesus said to him, “Have you believed because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.” John 20:29. Our Lord also said,
“I do not ask for these only, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word". Jn 17:20
A bleeding statue or the word of God? Any deceiving spirit can make a statue bleed. Trust God, not in lying signs and wonders. Follow Christ, not bleeding statues.
    "

Here are some interesting admissions from the RCC on how it truly is “Christianized paganism” from the article Vatican Openly admits it Embraces Babylon (typos corrected):
“It is interesting to note how often our Church has availed herself of practices which were in common use among pagans…Thus it is true, in a certain sense, that some Catholic rites and ceremonies are a reproduction of those of pagan creeds….” (The Externals of the Catholic Church, Her Government, Ceremonies, Festivals, Sacramentals and Devotions, by John F. Sullivan, p 156, published by P.J. Kennedy, NY, 1942)
“It has often been charged… that Catholicism is overlaid with many pagan incrustations. Catholicism is ready to accept that accusation - and even to make it her boast… the great god Pan is not really dead, he is baptized” -The Story of Catholicism p 37
Cardinal Newman admits in his book that; the “The use of temples, and these dedicated to particular saints, and ornamented on occasions with branches of trees; incense, lamps, and candles; votive offerings on recovery from illness; holy water; asylums; holydays and seasons, use of calendars, processions, blessings on the fields; sacerdotal vestments, the tonsure, the ring in marriage, turning to the East, images at a later date, perhaps the ecclesiastical chant, and the Kyrie Eleison [Note 17], are all of pagan origin, and sanctified by their adoption into the Church. {374}” -An Essay on the The Development of the Christian Doctrine John Henry “Cardinal Newman” p.359
The penetration of the religion of Babylon became so general and well known that Rome was called the “New Babylon.” -Faith of our fathers 1917 ed. Cardinal Gibbons, p. 106
“In order to attach to Christianity great attraction in the eyes of the nobility, the priests adopted the outer garments and adornments which were used in pagan cults.“ -Life of Constantine, Eusebius, cited in Altai-Nimalaya, p. 94
“The Church did everything it could to stamp out such ‘pagan’ rites, but had to capitulate and allow the rites to continue with only the name of the local deity changed to some Christian saint’s name.” -Religious Tradition and Myth. Dr. Edwin Goodenough, Professor of Religion, Harvard University. p. 56, 57
In Stanley’s History, page 40: “The popes filled the place of the vacant emperors at Rome, inheriting their power, their prestige, and their titles from PAGANISM.”
Here is how Pagan Rome was converted to Papal Rome:
Roman Empire (Imperium Romanum) renamed: Roman Catholic Church
Curia (legal body of Senators) slight name change: Curia (legal body of Cardinals)
Roman Emperor renamed: Roman Pope (head of all church and state affairs)
Civil government matters of state: Extra-Ordinary affairs (matters of civil-state governments)
Religious orders matters: Church “ecclesiastical” matters
Roman College of Senators renamed: College of Cardinals
Magistrate of College of Senators renamed: Dean of College of Cardinals
Departments of the Roman Senatorial Curia renamed: Congregations
Political Ambassador renamed: Pro-Nuncio (highest civil ambassador sent to other governments, ie Washington DC, London etc)
If a government has not signed a treaty with Rome which makes the Romans the head of the foreign country as certified in the Roman Code of Canon Law. This rebel nation which has no official ties has an ambassador called an Apostolic Delegate. The United States and the United Kingdom never allowed the Vatican to serve as their legal head until President Reagan quickly signed into law on January 10, 1984. This Treaty for the very first time in U.S. history recognized full diplomatic relations between the United States and the Vatican State.
In 1534 when the United Kingdom realized that the Treaty with the Vatican City-State made them subject to all the Popes rules they voided the treaty. Formal diplomatic relations between England and Vatican State were broken. Full diplomatic relations with the Pope’s Vatican State were never restored for 448 years until 1982.
      Roman Senators renamed: Cardinals
      Roman Governors renamed: Archbishops
Roman Senator with no territory: Bishop (Code of Canon Law 376)
      (Large) Roman Province renamed: Archdiocese
      (Small) Roman Territory renamed: Diocese
Imperial Chair of Jupiter where Caesar sat renamed: Throne of St. Peter
      Vestal Virgins renamed: Nuns
Pontifex Maximus (high priest of College of Senators) renamed: Supreme Pontiff of College of Cardinals
Pontiff or “high priest ” of a pagan religious order (Zues, Apollo, Diana, Mars, Jupiter, Baal, Dionysys, Pythia etc) same name: Pontiff
A Pontiff (Latin: “pontifex”) means bridge-builder or priest between man and the gods of the underworld.
The Roman Calendar and Holy Days of the gods renamed: Calendar Holidays of the Saints
Voice of the gods speaking through Caesar: Ex-Cathedra: Voice of God speaking through Pope
Meeting of the Pontiffs (high priests) of the pagan religious orders renamed: Ecumenical Council of the Bishops
Legal act of creating a god (of a living or dead human, as was done to most of the Caesars) “Apotheosis of the Gods” renamed: Canonization of the Saints
A decree of Caesar (dictator for life): Pope’s infallible Dogma
Praying to a dead human god renamed: Praying to a saint

Is anyone ever worthy to receive Almighty God? I read this on a Catholic forum:Our prayers for receiving Communion say that all sins may be forgiven by receiving the Eucharist. Christ cannot be defeated by sin, anyone who receives Christ and willingly accepts Christ makes Christ triumph over sin within oneself.

At every Mass Jesus' one perfect Holy Sacrifice is re presented... God is not limited by time as we are. Jesus is fully God...the Second Person of the Most Holy Trinity and fully man. He is the Lamb of God interceding for us at the right hand of God the Father. He allows us to be present at the Sacrifice He began by instituting the Sacrament of His Body and Blood in the Most Holy Eucharist and we are present at Calvary, as we unite with Jesus in His Offering of Himself to the Heavenly Father. The Resurrection not only validated everything Jesus said and taught, but it also made possible our partaking of His Glorified Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity with every reception of Holy Communion. Thus fulfilling everything He said in John 6. The Passover Lamb of the old covenant was not only sacrificed, but also eaten. So too, Jesus makes it reality for us in the New Covenant, that we continue to partake of His Sacrifice both with the celebration of the Mass and the reception of His Body and Blood in Holy Communion. If anyone would like to learn more I would suggest two CDs from Dr. Scott Hahn: The Lamb's Supper and The Fourth Cup. Dr. Hahn explains both beautifully. I have learned so much from him. God bless you.

Why can you not accept a one time only sacrifice that Messiah made for all as He said it is finished. I believe Him. Trust Him and Hope in Him and not in a ritual sevice repeated over and over and over for no purpose other than for your pleasure. As it is not pleasing to YHWH that you are saying once is not enough. You want to have it over and over again??? No this is not to make Messiah worshipped as it is a lack of trust on your church that He only needed to die once for all. This is really sacriligious to repeat this. YHWH is not mocked and you must take His Word seriously. Also....I might add, Messiah is at the right hand of the Father and not in the person of your Pope.
This is terrible to say he is the vicar of Christ. Messiah is the Rock of our Salvation and that cannot be passed down to anyone else as He alone is the head of the body, the Church, not a man. Messiah never fails, though man fails all the time and cannot take Messiahs authority away and is certainly not given to be the head of the church.

Jesus is not sacrificed anew by the priest. What happens is that the sacrifice that occurred nearly 2000 years ago is made present again. It's like time travel: a time door opens and we are with Jesus at the time of his sacrifice. In the Jewish passover, the Jews had to eat the lamb after sacrificing it. Jesus was a Jew and He used the same jewish ritual (typology) for all humanity to partake of his diivine body and thus receive life. It is a great love and mercy for our souls.

The sacrifice of Jesus is "made present again"?
So- you are saying that Jesus is being sacrificed over and over again but in a "bloodless sacrifice" this time? Bible verses for that?
Please explain the verses from your New Jerusalem Bible that teach that the sacrifice of Jesus was done ONCE and is to be remembered as a Memorial and not a 'sacrifice'. Bloodless or not.
Jesus told us to do in remembrance and as a memorial. Do I need to post the definitions yet again? The verses are plain and clear and not open to any personal "interpretation".
Not MY "interpretation" but the words from your very own New Jerusalem Bible:
#Heb9:22 And almost all things are *by the law purged with blood;* and *without shedding of blood is no remission*. (My note- bloodless sacrifice is, obviously, useless)
23It was therefore necessary that the patterns of things in the heavens should be purified with these; but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these.
#24 *For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands*, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us:
      #25 *Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place every year with blood of others*;
#26For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: *but now ONCE in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself*
27And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
#28 *So Christ was ONCE offered to bear the sins of many* ; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.
(Note: NOT pulled down from the cross daily/weekly by a pseudo-priest.)
#Heb10:10By the which will we are sanctified through the *offering of the body of Jesus Christ ONCE for all*
11And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, *which can never take away sins*: (Note- Clearly- the wafer takes away NO sins)
      12 But this man, *after he had offered ONE sacrifice for sins for ever*, sat down on the right hand of God;
John19:30When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, *It is finished* : and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.
1Cor11:24 and after he had given thanks, he broke it, and he said, 'This is my body, which is for you; *do this in* #remembrance of me.'
25 And in the same way, with the cup after supper, saying, 'This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Whenever you drink it, *do this as a* #memorial of me.'
(my note- "IN REMEMBRANCE" and "AS A MEMORIAL"! Not as a "bloodless sacrifice" to be performed daily millions of times all over the world. As if the Sacrifice of Jesus on the cross was not enough!)
But then again, your canon forbids you under excommunication and as anathema to believe in a Memorial or Remembrance. Follow your "canons" - I'll follow the words of Jesus in the Bible.

A good analogy of 'made present again' is the like the sun rising every morning. It's the same sun but it is being made present again in the morning. So, no...Jesus isn't being sacrificed over and over again during Mass. It's the same, one and only sacrifice being represented.
Nevertheless, our canon doesn't forbid believing in a memorial (not sure where you got that from). In fact, during Mass, the Priest holds up the Eucharist and quotes Jesus saying, 'Do this in remembrance of me.' And, that is exactly what Catholics are doing...the Lord's supper.

#The Bible says there is ONE sacrifice and done. Jesus is sitting on the throne in Heaven and not hanging on the cross to be called down during every 'mass' by a man called 'father'.

#You are misinformed or lying- The canons forbid believing a Memorial under being accursed by the vatican (which, actually, doesn't mean anything)
Canons on the Sacrifice of the Mass (September 17, 1562)
Canon 1.If anyone says that in the mass a true and real sacrifice is not offered to God; or that to be offered is nothing else than that Christ is given to us to eat, let him be anathema.
Canon 2.If anyone says that by those words, Do this for a commemoration of me, Christ did not institute the Apostles priests; or did not ordain that they and other priests should offer His body and blood, let him be anathema.
Canon 3.If anyone says that the sacrifice of the mass is only of praise and thanksgiving; or that it is a #mere #commemoration #of #the #sacrifice consummated on the cross but not a propitiatory one; or that it profits him only who receives, and ought not to be offered for the living and the dead, for sins, punishments, satisfactions, and other necessities, let him be anathema.
*You said* -"In fact, during Mass, the Priest holds up the Eucharist and quotes Jesus saying, 'Do this in remembrance of me.' And, that is exactly what Catholics are doing...the Lord's supper."
#This is blasphemy. In no Bible in history is this taught to be done. There is NO "eucharist" in word or concept in ANY Bible. Not even in your imprimatured Bibles.

To repeat: A good analogy of 'made present again' is the like the sun rising every morning. It's the same sun but it is being made present again in the morning. So, no...Jesus isn't being sacrificed over and over again during Mass. It's the same, one and only sacrifice being represented.
Do you see anywhere where I said Jesus IS being sacrificed again? No.
      ~~~#You are misinformed or lying- The canons forbid believing a Memorial under being accursed by the vatican (which, actually, doesn't mean anything)
      You just proved yourself wrong when you highlighted 'a MERE commemoration' in your rebuttal.
      If you look up the word mere...it means 'solely'. In others words, there is more to the Lord's supper than solely the commemoration of it. One is excommunicated when in the commemoration you do not believe in the body and blood and it's many other benefits.
      ~~~There is NO "eucharist" in word or concept in ANY Bible. Not even in your imprimatured Bibles.
I beg to differ. If your Bible was in Greek you would see the word Eucharist since it translates: to give thanks. The Greek word "ευχαριστησας" is "eukaristos" (or "eucharistēsas") which means "to give thanks". Precisely the words Christ gave at the Last Supper....And he took bread, and when he had GIVEN THANKS he broke it and gave it to them.
Anyways, if I am wrong in anything I said...what have I lost? Nothing. I still commemorate the Last Supper. But, you on the other hand, if wrong (and you are) would lose everything. Unless you...as Jesus says...eat my flesh and drink my blood you have no life within you.

Amen, I feel it in my heart, the truth in the miracles of faith, where Jesus is in the body and blood of Christ, in the Holy Eucharist, in the breaking of the bread comes the cross, all these signs are made manifest to us in the Catholic Christian faith, which is the 'vine' of 'true faith,' where the rock of faith comes from Jesus, who is the 'rock' of faith, as the 'rock' or 'stone' that the builders rejected. And Jesus build the universal church started by Saint Peter as the first pope, and Peter was the 'rock' of faith, from whom Jesus has said, "whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven."
Blessings that all may see the light of truth in Jesus, our Divine Healer, our true Master.
