Police came in to stop the race and claimed that the crowd cannot be controlled. Another story was that the race does not have a permit. However, Turbo racing have not given any update through their facebook page regarding why the race was halted. One team claimed that the flag men are giving the win to the wrong rider which created commotion and brought out the people in the middle of the strip.
In my own opinion, Turbo racing is one of the famous drag race organizer in the country, they've been in the racing industry for a while but they seem to lack man power to clear the people off the track. Producing a metal barrier to keep the people off from the track on the first 100 meter wouldn't hurt that much.
