I train conjugate so I love to rotate through all bars possible, but Elitefts's SSB is a staple in training. Saves my shoulders and elbows from getting too beat up compared to squatting with a straight bar.

That camber bar is a staple for me. I bench 3x week usually and 2 slots are that bar. It was a staple when I was fighting a shoulder impingement. It's great for rows as well. The other 2 bars are a good power bar and SSB bar.

Coach J, how would you plan training in a year if you wanted to compete in one Weightlifting, one Strongman, and one Powerlifting meet. Is it even possible? You and Thrall are maybe the only ones diverse enough and possibly imaginative enough that I can ask. I know the river flows through powerlifting towards the other two sports. Like could I do tire flips instead of reg back squats to strengthen my clean squat? Car deadlifts as alternative to regs? Could I do log as accessory to bench? I mean strongmen do cleans and powerlifts all the time anyways.
Good stuff! I really want an SSB bar, Olympic squat bar, and my own multi grip. That cambered bar looks out of this world! Love how many grip positions there are, too!

I have the Titan SSB, multigrip, And Buffalo bar and they are all fine. The Buffalo bar has some trouble on the j-cups but otherwise they are all fine for home/garage gyms! Obviously if you have the bills or it’s gunna get a ton of use it’s better to buy once and cry once IMO.
@@SzatStrength definitely agree, i doubt I'll ever wear the bars I have down by myself lmao. But is the cambered multi grip bar and the buffalo bar worth it to add to my training?
Benching with a bamboo bar is the equivalent of squatting on a bosu ball. The instability that comes with squatting on a bosu ball or benching with a bamboo bar will limit the load to such an extent that the stress will not be enough to cause an adaptation i.e. strength/hypertrophy. Companies use “stability training” as a way to fool the unsuspecting lifter into shelling out $300 for a bamboo stick. If you get any bench gains from using it, most likely you were doing too much bench volume before and the decrease in load allowed for better fatigue management. I want all the smoke
I disagree and here is why. The challenge of a bamboo bar is it forces you to create more stability within your normal set up. A bosu ball creates a challenge by making a normal set up impossible because you're on a unstable surface (i.e. it is "balance training"). The chaos training is way more specific and the loads aren't that low. If you've used a bamboo bar or chaos training before they feel completely different than "balance training". A more apt comparison is chaos bench feels like chaos squats, and squatting on a bosu ball feels like benching on a stability ball (or bosu but I've never seen that attempted). If you put any faith in EMG comparisons bamboo bar bench had the same activity in the main movers but also had near maximal rotator cuff EMG activity.
What’s your top 3 favorite barbells!?
Standard power bar, multi-grip, and SSB.

Hanging weights from an empty barbell will accomplish the same thing, but just less effective since the Bamboo Bar is 7 lb.

I have big hands and long fingers so I can't actually fully grip the bar when I press so I feel like using an axle might be better for me but idk.
