  • Ship with 19,000 Cattle Causes Stink in South Africa's Cape Town | Vantage with Palki Sharma
A ship carrying 19,000 cattle from Brazil to Iraq caused a stink in the South African city of Cape Town. The smell from the ship blanketed Cape Town. The cattle were stewing in more than two weeks worth of faeces and ammonia. The ordeal sheds a light on the global Livestock transport industry. Is there no way to transport animals without subjecting them to cruelty? Palki Sharma reports.

Baboons steal young animals and eat them alive like a hamburger, staring with the back muscles. They've even learned to raise domesticated dogs (which they steal as puppies) as weapons.
Orcas will sometimes play tennis with living seals purely for amusement and not eat it, and other creative things for amusement.
Elephants will crush smaller animals, like tortoises, purely for amusement.
Chimpanzees will often go to war...sometimes just for some meat. With gorilla populations recovering, we're seeing it's part of their nature to wage war as well.
Crows do all sorts of cruel stuff for amusement.
Notice all these animals are intelligent.
