Okay so hear me out, a few months ago I just watched a documentary about a man from Australia who absolutely says he's Jesus. He, as well has a huge following. Apparently there's also a man in Brazil as well as a man from Africa (actually I think there's two or three from Africa) who also claims to be the one and only Jesus of Nazareth... We should definitely put them all in a room together, no holds bar deathmatch of crazy. How about a documentary about that, vice?
I like the deathmatch analogy but can we put all religious zealots/grifters on that island too? Just to save time, can we put trump, trumplickers, putin and the rest of the scumbags on earth on that same island?

He also fulfilled all the Old Testament prophecies. I got the strange sensation that he was reflecting deeply on himself while giving this advice. You could definitely feel the connection between the advice to others and possibly his own self dialogue.
I don't think this guy believes he is god. There is something about him. Joining that cult is suicide, in a way; the people in it are so scared, depressed, and so on, they want to flee the world. So, they go there, and cease to think. Everything is simple. You don't have to think anymore. It's all easy; just build houses and farm and take a girl and raise children in the older, simpler ways. Here and there, I remember hearing that a lot of ex-cons end up missing being in prison, because even though things were bad on the inside, they were simple. Some people go to that cult, and that is what gives the leader his power; they went there themselves. If they didn't, the leader would have no power. They give him the power. And if you are a sad-sack, you kill the illusion for them, and that also makes the leader seem weaker. Everyone would jump on someone with the blues, then, and who knows what would be said. I really think this guy thinks he is just giving them what they want. In his head, if they didn't go to him, they would go to someone else. But who knows what is going on there. The marriages could be arranged, and they could force very young girls into it. That's my real issue: I do find the older people pathetic for fleeing society like that, so maybe I am just intolerant, but there are children there, and I don't know if they have the right to leave, and they certainly do not know enough of the world in general to make a decision on what to do with their lives. I don't think this guy believes he is god. There is something about him.
Joining that cult is suicide, in a way; the people in it are so scared, depressed, and so on, they want to flee the world. So, they go there, and cease to think. Everything is simple. You don't have to think anymore. It's all easy; just build houses and farm and take a girl and raise children in the older, simpler ways. Here and there, I remember hearing that a lot of ex-cons end up missing being in prison, because even though things were bad on the inside, they were simple. That's probably why suicide is ok there. That is the red flag to me; I wonder if suicide is encouraged if you feel depressed, because it would ruin the party for everyone else. And if you are a sad-sack, you kill the illusion for them, and that also makes the leader seem weaker. Everyone would jump on someone with the blues, then, and who knows what would be said.

But who knows what is going on there. The marriages could be arranged, and they could force very young girls into it.
