- In this video, I will be taking a look at Nintendo DS emulation on the latest firmware 1.0.4 of the TrimUI Smart Pro.
The TrimUI Smart Pro is capable of emulating any Nintendo DS game that I tried without any issues. Many of the games can even be played with the Hi-Res 3d models turned on in the Drastic emulator.
As well, the large 16:9 screen makes for an enjoyable experience if two screens are needed as they can easily fit side-by-side without making each screen feel too small.

All these trimui vids are incredible, love the way you have tested and produced them, subbing right now
Great video thank you
Great videos as aways. Just got my handheld and how do you switch from using analog stick to using d pad on mario 64 ds. Its like unplayable using the analog stick. Makes me run all over the place. Like its in follow the touchscreen cursor mode
The left analog stick is mapped to the cursor by default. You need to change the mapping of the left analog stick in the drastic menu. You should be able to map the dpad directions as an alternative mapping in the left analog
@RetroHandheldGuides thanks for the reply. Appreciate it. I had already tried the button remapping. Turns out I had two hand mode with screen touch selected for in game options. Got it to normal mode and it fixed it.
I thought Drastic was an Android emulator, how is it available on this Linux emulator?
It has both an android and a Linux build
@@RetroHandheldGuides Interesting. I run Linux as my desktop OS and I can't seem to find it anywhere, weird
It's probably using a version of Linux made for handheld devices?
@@gregmillhand9697 Yeah I meant I couldn't find a link for it cause I was curious to see how it works, or maybe it's only bundled with the TrimUI Smart Pro OS
Really well done video, just ordered the "retro" colored one as you use in the video, cant wait to get it :D
great video.👍👍
wta, how to change split screen on my trimui like mario kart on yours?
Watch the freaking video
@@AhmadZakwan-fd3xc bro, he literally explain that part very poorly... sorry
can the DS games be 16:9 stretched?
No they cannot as far as I can tell
@RetroHandheldGuides How did you get Mario Kart DS to run so well with high res 3d models? What are your settings?
