I'm really happy with my rg28xx! Much more capable than what i would have thought. Regarding the stylus input, if you press the power button once while playing a ds game, the dpad switches to controlling the stylus and a button becomes a press. I played a bit of ghost trick: phantom detective that way. Not the best, but kind of playable. That also works for psp, if you press the power button once while in a game, dpad switches to mapping analogue controls.
That's a great tip on the power key toggle! I tried all of the buttons thinking that there must be a way to toggle it but I never thought to press the power button.
1)Download the latest official firmware from win.anbernic.com/download/398.html 2)Extract the zip and you should have an img file. 3)Use Rufus or Balena Etcher or other image writing software to flash the image to an SD of at least 64GB 4)Pop the SD card back into your device, turn it on and let the install process work

Have you been able to test the dragon quest remakes for DS? (4-5-6) Do they run fine?
Tried dragon quest ix and it works fine. No issues
