Thank you for taking the time for showcasing your restoration, and bringing this classic beauty back to life and better than it has ever been before! I hope you’ve been enjoying the heck out of this beautiful bike!!!!!!
I restored (well I actually had some professional assistance from a colleague) my KH250 B3 (the Green a Yellow one) some 25 years ago and never regretted it. I did regret that I sold it to an enthusiast (lives next door to my Bro) as I moved overseas but it still looks as good as new even after all these years and he still let's me ride it when I visit...JUST DO IT...:-D

you make it look so easy, I know its not because I used to fix fairings when I was young, I just wished I had your attention to detail, a true masterpiece and you are a renessaince worker
I watched all 5 reels of the restoration and I have no words. You really deserved the whiskey at the end! I have the same one but 750 ccm, but it is not possible to find a good mechanic in Serbia. Congratulations for your work!!!
@@RRCRestoration Are you a Green Welly frequenter or are you more East Coast Fife Trail? Hope to see you and the bike out on the road in the near future! Cheers and thanks for another brilliant restoration! Michael from Planet-Wax.
As a long time Ducati fan and more recent Really Random Channel fan, I thoroughly enjoyed this restoration. Great job! Two comments: 1. Please polish the tail lamp lens 2. Please polish the headlamp.
The level of skill displayed here across all disciplines of mechanical and paintwork restoration is literally breathtaking. This machine is now so perfect that I should hesitate to use it on the road which could only disfigure the perfection of what has been achieved in bringing it to a condition which is surely better than when it left Bolognia. You have created a version of a fabulous motorcycle which surpasses mere factory production standards to represent a work of art. I salute you Sir !
Ha ha George! You little beauty 😍. Once again, fantastic work my friend. Your patience and attention to detail never ceases to amaze me. I love your work and your brilliant video editing. I hope you never tire of uploading content. 👍🏻
Nice to see you again and thank you very much for your kind comment. As long as you guys keep watching ill keep making videos for you its all good fun :)
You really know your craft, from mechanics to painting. So awesome to see someone who knows exactly what he's doing with such an amazing restoration! Thank you very much for sharing
You've done an amazing job - I can learn many lessons from watching your steady, calculated approach to how you do things - thank you so much for sharing your experiences!
I just don't understand! I found your channel because of the bike jobs. Then I found out about the other stuff. How do you accumulate the knowledge required to do this?! It's not like you're tip-toeing your way around. You really know what you're doing and you're very good at it! Even the video-related stuff is amazing! I don't care if you say you've got lots of workshop manuals, or that you have spent thousands of hours studying and have years of experience, or three different master's degrees in engineering, that your father did it and your grandfather before him did it too! There's only one suitable explanation: aliens!
Wow, I have no words to describe your work. That motorcycle should go to a Ducati museum. The attention to details, the respect for originality is outstanding. I'm currently restoring a Honda RVF400 to an OEM condición so I'm purchasing OEM Honda bolts and I can tell you that, even being OEM, are not identical to the ones that came with the bike. Congrats for your incredible work.! Can't wait for the next one.
Such a good series. Really well done mate. Just bought a '97 600ss but I'm not sure it will ever get the love yours did! Recently finished restoring my dream '89 ZXR 750 H1 and now into restoring a '74 Yamaha DT 250 I've had since I was 15! Never say never on the Ducati though - my wife won't thank you but I think you have inspired me!
Easily the best bike restoration I've seen. Quality job man. Nothing really random about that! Thanks a lot for uploading the series, enjoyed every minute.
I bought one of these bikes new from the dealer in Sydney back in 1996. It looked exactly like this one once you’d completed it. Brought back good memories. Thanks.
I think all of us who watch your videos are looking forward to the final moment when you start the motorcycle. Congratulations on the restoration of a great motorcycle, you are a great professional.

that sir is an excellent restoration and it has been a pleasure to join you on this journey. Thank you for sharing this with us and I think that was a well deserved Scotch at the end!
This 600 Supersport series isn't over 'til you take us on the road test! GREAT WORK! I thoroughly enjoyed this! I have an '86 750 F1b, used it for both road & track for years, just about completed a freshen up/resto on it, with some engine mods. Most of the time, It had 411/2 Malossis, good for about 130mph/210kph. I'm hoping for 145mph/235kph with the 900 cams & 10:1 pistons.
My first brand new Ducati was a ‘93 900SS. This led to a used ‘95 900SS SP, then a ‘97 900SS CR. Loved them all. Funny, the humble CR was the most fun. The skinny back tire made turn-in quicker and the half-fairing made maintenance a breeze.
Thanks to this video series, I was inspired to pick up a well used 95 SS SP to restore! I might be cursing you a bit a long the way, but this will be a great life experience no matter what. Thank you so much for sharing!
I'm trying to come up with words for what i have seen with this beautiful bike,i'll go with, mesmerising, incredible, jaw dropping, craftsmanship, expertise, you sir are a genius, amazingly talented,to see the transformation is nothing short of astonishing & to own and ride this beauty will surely leave the owner/rider with a permanent grin on their face, thank you for these videos, magnificent.
I rarely leave comments on videos, except the one that is really worth it. The work done for such a restoration, close to leaving the factory (really) is incredible. It really looks like she just came out of the garage. I really appreciate what you are doing (I am currently looking at the restoration of the Subaru) But because of you, I have an idea that has entered my head, but which I cannot put into practice on my own. This is the complete restoration of my 1991 Mazda MX5. It's clean, but like any old car, it needs a bit of a restore. In short, you will understand, I am a fan of your work. On the other hand, what a sacrilege, ice in the whiskey :) ... With that, good luck to you in your future work. You have gold in your hands. Just sat through the whole series, and what amazing attention to detail you deservedly gave the Duke.. New subscriber and enjoy watching your channel.. all the best and continued success to RRC.
Great work on the restoration on the 600ss! As an owner of a unrestored carb. 900ss I know what sort of wear and tear these bikes has had since their better days in the 1990s. The level of care for details and finish on this restoration is of another world! Just two minor things: the hex (umbrako) screw on the indicator light must be an quick-fix error or what? And why did you opt for the upswift aftermarked 2-1-2 exhaust? Originaly the 600 had a 2-1-1 exhaust, but an original factory Termignoni 2-1-2 would not be bad in my eyes if not going for full original exhaust.
Wonderful restauration and a lot of nice tips for me as an old 600SSC owner. I would have kept the single Exhaust because it originally only got one, but that's only because this old lady deserves to be original. Grannys don't wear stockings 😛

Now make it a cafe recer... Just kidding. Really beautiful work. It's a pleasure to watch something beautiful come back in all of its glory.
Absolutely loved this Ducati series from start to finish, you done it’s brilliantly. Hats off to you that is exactly how a restoration should be 👏🏼
Thank you so much :)
You cant beat the sound of a air cooled Ducati, great work there 👍
Yeah its a great raw mechanical sounding noise :)
