Not sure which setting exactly, but it fixed stuttering for me completely. Feels like it was the 'High precision event timer' for me, but can't tell you for sure. As for the Negative LOD - when set to Clamp, it for some reason looked like my anti-aliasing is on lowest setting on certain objects, so ended up setting it back to Allow. Other than that, I followed all the settings outside the in-game settings, and it now works flawlessly, so thank you very much for that! I would recommend lowest settings for everything, enabling XMP (ram speed profile in BIOS) or the equivalent on your motherboard board and running in no higher then 1920x1080. Unfortunately PUBG may not run super well even on these settings due to its harsh CPU requirements. Make sure that nothing else is running in the background like anti virus, other game platforms like EA/EPIC/Ubisoft, only discord at the most. You could also try running in 1280x720, though the game will look a little rough. One other thing you can do is drop the render scale down to 80 if you are running on 1920x1080. This may give you just enough boost for decent performance. Also make sure you are running max performance on windows & on AMD
Thank you for the kind words my friend, I was there myself not too long ago and know the feeling of getting 80 FPS on Erangel/Miramar. let me know the results!
Hi @olieeff what version of the i5 is your processor? I think 8GB of ram will be enough if you are not running much in the background. The graphics card may run PUBG but it is very light compared to where you will need to be for smooth gameplay. I would recommend lowest settings for everything and it may be worth trying the 1280x720 resolution. It will run better based on your specs.
@cry2love is correct! Even an Nvidia 1050 would run the game much better if you have an option to upgrade to that (make sure your power supply is compatible and it fits in your case)

Great question! Unfortunately I don’t personally have a controller, but in the steam files for PUBG there is a file .config or .cfg that contains all of the mapped key bindings and should also have the different controller buttons mapped to it. You might be able to edit that file and change the config mapped key to a different one more suitable for your needs. Be careful though, editing game files outside of the game is not typically recommended. Might be worth reaching out to PUBG support to confirm you are allowed to do that before trying it
So if I’m running a Gsync monitor shouldn’t I turn Vsync on in Nvida control panel? Also I’m on a 4090 and 13900K At 1440 it seems AA on ultra makes some models have a white fuzziness, tried Med AA and the fuzzy goes away
What is your monitors refresh rate settings? If your monitor has gsync enabled, I would first try it with vsync on. Any time you go above your refresh rate, vsync will kick in and gsync will turn off. Not having it on can cause white outlines or fuzzies like you mentioned but there are a few other factors like AA being too high with your refresh rate/resolution and can cause screen tearing. Do you have an option to turn up or down “overdrive” on the monitor? This may also be the cause of the white fuzzies. Another thing you can try is to cap your FPS at your monitors refresh so that gsync never turns off, if you do this then have vsync set to off.
effect, shadows, and view distance, are the most high usage of vram i usually turn all that very low since it had nothing effect on game well it does some of this setting like "effect" when enemy are far range and shooting at you the bullet trace flash can be see in distance which allow you to quick guessing where enemy at however not really significan i would recomend this verylow-medium. enything else is nothing to do with advantage ingame well view distance did but still set on ultra or verylow still not gonna see the enemy much further than 1000m its just shows how much building you wanted to see in further way same useless as foliage. the most recomend setting are antialiasing, postprocessing, and texture that 3 is really important set those 3 on high or ultra prioritzed this 3.
There’s a few things I will agree with you on, but there’s many that I don’t. Yes effects/shadows/view distance use more VRAM. The setting you are on can change performance, how often things load like shaders/objects and they can affect your performance and gameplay. View distance does not have anything to do with view distance of player models, it is about the view distance for objects and the range that objects load in at. Yes, 1000 m (technically 996m) is the max range for visibility for most objects including hit registration and player models, but using a higher view distance will allow weapons/vehicles/etc to load in faster before you hit the ground.

Thanks, but -novid doesn't remove the intro video.
It does remove the standard one, but there is an event for Erangel Classic going on right now that it does not remove. That ends in a couple days and it should go back to working again.
Your settings are not suitable for the number of users.. because your computer is very powerful
Hi @thaidinh3443 Some settings presented like the windows and Nvidia control panel settings are for both high end and low end systems, but everyone’s hardware is a little different. I recommend trying to play in a lower resolution if you have not tried that yet, it makes a huge difference if you are on a less powerful system.
@@ParkerPPKBro can i use first thing that you did in device manager, my pc rtx 3060, ryxen 7 5800x 8-core
problem I have is every time I try and follow one of these guides my windows setting NEVER matches the videos. My Power & Battery setting doesn't have any of the options like in your video. Legit only say energy recommendations, screen & sleep. power plan says can't be switched while high performance is on. Everything else sends me to the internet
The difference here is I’m willing to help :) shoot me a msg on discord and we can work through it. parkerppk
To answer your question thought, the common reason is Microsoft changes the layout of things so the move slightly. Answer these questions for me plz: laptop or desktop, what operating system?

This did not fix my stuttering issues.
Hi! Can you provide your PC/monitor specs? I’m happy to help trouble shoot further!
reality is, 7 years down the line and the game is still an unoptimised pos.
I disagree with that whole hearty, it for sure has its issues but it still remains the best BR for gunplay. Fortnite is the only other BR that doesn’t currently suffer from bad optimization/glitches. Maybe if/when PUBG hits the new unreal engine it will be better!
