I would have liked to see the WiFi functionality in action to see the performance and latency and the battery life when using this feature on a follow up video.

G'day! Thanks for this helpful review. Question: My intent is to use it mainly for taking photos of 12"x12" photo scrapbook pages. Would you estimate I could get the image to fit this 12"x12" dimension and the resolution of the camera going to be decent enough for viewing (and maybe printing) some photos digitized from it? Any idea on what dpi I'd have on a photo of a 12"x12" photo page?
Really great demo. I had no idea what to call this camera. Oh. a document camera. I love this. How could I see the written page of my client, her or his handwriting. I am a graphologist and must see the details of my client, on line. would really appreciate any input. thanks

Good helpful video. FYI, another cheaper idea is to use a broken arm from a retractable desk lamp which I happened to have done (made a video of that as well.)

Thanks so much. I am interested in purchasing a document camera to replace my DC192. I have sent my unit back to Lumens twice now, and it's frustrating. I'm a painting teacher who uses a document camera so that I can teach at conventions in an auditorium setup using a projector to get the image to a screen. I also use my current document camera to record painting videos. Was I correct in assuming that your software would do the recording and then those videos would be saved to my computer/laptop???
It treats the documents camera as a webcam. So you can use any software to record it.

Where do you choose the settings to use this camera in Google Meet? I have a Hue camera and it does not work as a replacement of the build in webcam with Meet.
It depends on the camera. This one is designed to be recognised as a webcam. I would check your camera settings and manual online.
We do phone repair and need to zoom in over our hands some time, will it work and focus?
I have used it to zoom in on my hands during our unit on technical drawings. The auto focus worked a lot better when well lit but can take a sec or 2 when you remove your hands and bring them back into the frame.
Nice. I came across an app on Google play store called Tcamera which makes it easy to use your mobile's camera on your laptop.
There are a number of apps that will let you do that. However, a dedicated setup makes a huge difference.
Can I use the my Flipchart and IPEVO Camera will project it?

Can I switch between my doc camera and a PowerPoint when in a teams meeting on my laptop? If so. How?
Switching would mean you simply select a different camera input. Hope this helps.
When I shared my handwriting with a webcam, students told me that that screen is blurry and they couldn’t see what I wrote. Do you know they way to address this issue?
That will be due to the connection or software used to share your screen. Not the camera itself. Maybe check your internet connection and make sure the settings allow for high quality sharing.

Can we focus this camera on whiteboard for teaching purpose? At what distance it should be to cover the whole whiteboard?
It works great with small whiteboards as the movable arm allows you to adjust the distance. You can also change the filter/contrast and zoom to enable better legibility. I use it alot for both online and in person teaching.

Correct. The camera becomes a cam source and will work in any software Skype, teams, zoom, meet, jitse
