A HUGE shoutout to everyone that donates to the channel! You folks are amazing and I hope you enjoy the fun shoutout idea have for you in todays video!
@@shawenstolz Venmo doesn't usually take anything. And I think paypal only takes a really really small amount! Both are great. It's only the superthanks that they take 30%
Miss record stores just browsing walking around being able to experience different kinds of music when I was younger an had no phone or Internet. It's a life young kids should be able to experience
Let's go! Appreciate the shoutout dude. If you had paired mine with the "I'm Wide Awake, It's Morning" vinyl I'd have lost my shit. Conor is a great dude and agreed with you on how stellar his work is. Haha. Great job, as always! Looking forward to helping with the Printer's Row spots.
Dude that was so cool!! You are not going to believe this but every single Friday evening I go to this record store in Indy called Square Cat Vinyl. They have an extensive record collection and sell coffee and beer. I sit in there every Friday, listen to music and throw back some beers. I am for sure going to see if they have The Postal Service and I am buying it w/out listening first!!! Have a great rest of your week!
duuude! that sounds like such a fun time. I would 100% be joining you if I was living in Indy. I'll have to check that spot out next time I'm there. And you're going to LOVE that album! It's sooooo good!
Now we're talking. This one hits me right where I live. I feel about vintage record stores the way you do about vintage book stores. Give me a bed and I could live in one of those places. Good job Chamber of Commerce, you picked the perfect guy to show you in your best light.
right! there such great places to just hang! Every city I've lived in I've found the local record stores and became a bit of a regular! I love them so much!
Being a vinyl nerd myself, I LOVED this vlog, and yes, Paul Simon's Graceland is an absolutely AMAZING album. Did you know he actually worked with African musicians for the whole album? 17:37, just to YOUR left. Chocolate City by Parliament, CLASSIC!!!
Great video and nice vinyl collection that you have. I have a small collection as well and we have two of the same, motion city soundtrack and sublime. I love these quaint little record stores. Was that laser disc that you briefly showed, London calling, by the clash? Also, you are a,”man of the people.” I think you’re a great guy. I also LOVE how you paired certain vinyl’s with your shoutout’s, very creative. 😊
16:06 I think i worked at that Walgreens for a day, changing the lights. If it is the right one, they have a weird but massive storage unit above the building that's only accessible from the outside. I remember thinking they should rent it out for bands to rehearse in.
@@CoreyWagnerChicago Also thank you for helping me rediscover one of my favorite bands, Frightened Rabbit. Sad that the lead singer died on my 30th birthday. Due to depression I took like a 5 year sabbatical from music and forgot some favorite bands, so I get really happy when I'm reminded of em.
@@zebracorn4281 such an amazing band! I saw them like three months before he died. Crazy that was your 30th birthday. And I feel ya man, depression is something I've been dealing with for a looong time. There's a few albums that I can't listen to too much bc I know I'll just start getting dperessed lol hope you're doing alright man.
@@CoreyWagnerChicago Thank you, I know what you mean, I have an Elliot Smith tattoo and I can't really listen yo him unless I want to be in an awful mood. But I guess it's a process.

Thanks Chef Jeff!!! And that's awesome. I love picking the music for these things! Eventually I'll have a little free time and I want to finish making a spotify playlist with all the music from my vlogs!
One of my all time favorite albums of all time is also LCD Soundsystem, This is Happening. James Murphy has gotten me through some grinding ass workdays. Also Beta Band,Postal Service and Mac, big love on those picks. Vlog love is strong from Husko, Peace. No super thanks option on this one...check the Venmo bro.
You are such a hipster! But listening to this really bright me back. I cringed when I heard something about neutral milk hotel songs and a wedding but then I remember all the in the aeroplane songs I played to my ex and claimed as my own. Also Bright Eyes. The Postal Service. I mean, c'mon.
