@@builttoshreddd ya or ig it’s called consolidating. Look up a tutorial on how to sit vocals in a beat with consolidating. It’s helped me a bunch. And jt dosnt take long. It basically removes frequencies from the beat u don’t need so the vocals frequencies fit and be one with the beat
@@builttoshreddd there is a great tutorial by Streaky about it "I reveal how the pro's mix vocals" he goes in depth with the process and it gives great results but you need a paid plugin to do his method
So I actually didn’t apply that EQ to the vocal the intro says with out doing much of anything to the vocal them selves. This EQ we would apply to all the other instruments to make sure the vocal has space to stand out ❤❤ I added some compression after the fact too I mentioned that in another video thanks for the comment😊

side chaining helps alooot with making it sit in the beat aswell for any other artist out there
Sidechaining the beat to the vocals on the mixer?

@@soupie1 preciate it!
@@builttoshredddYou can use the Soothe for something like that and have great results. Especially when mixing 2 track
Nice track🔥
Thanks fam
I need the opposite. Sit down in and blend rather than on top like an after thought.
slightly boost 250hz on the vocal, slightly boost 2-5k on the instrumental.
vice versa too, if vocal has a lot on 250hz already, reduce 250hz on the instrumental and boost the highs of the vocal.
Use slap delay. Use slap delay on every vocal. It acts as like a glue between the vocal and beat. Always works imo
what plug in are you using to do that@@KillBleak
U need a DS on your video vocals lol listening with headphones it’s hurting
Thanks so much! I will!
😂😂😂
I get what your saying, but it looked like you cut out a lot of the vocal presence with your EQ, the magic is in mids💯
