- Rescue and relief work is underway to safeguard people's lives and property at Dongting Lake in central China's Hunan Province after a dike breach. The country's emergency response authorities have dispatched drones, helicopters and satellites to help with the rescue. The National Meteorological Center on Saturday issued a blue alert for rainstorms as heavy downpours are expected to lash parts of the country.

Dividing henan to dongting lake,is too risky where water level is equal,,if it's sealed then the lakewater goes up,,meaning it's a lake with no more outlet,water level then reach that road,what's the use of sealing it,,since reservoir continuously releases it's spilled water!
