One cannot be extremely serious about being a lover and connoisseur of music without liking Ween, or at least having massive respect and reverence for what they’re doing, even if their sound is not one’s particular personal preference. @@mambojambo4874 So... they start to mellow out in their later records, and their earliest stuff is almost unapproachable when you're just getting into them. If you're looking for a slow descent into madness, go backwards, but at their core it's a Hit Random kind of band

Saw them when they toured for The Mollusk and it was seriously one of the best live shows I've ever seen ... Ween was also never one of my 'favorite' bands .. I always liked em' .. but wasn't a huge fan. It was a House of Blues show and the sound was phenomenal .. we stood right in front of Dean Ween and the dude was on a different planet with his guitar playing. Amazing band who are much more impressive live ... I don't usually say that about bands either. I'm not one of those guys ... I usually don't enjoy live venues considering all the BS you have to deal with to experience that stuff.

starting with la cucaracha is such a bad idea. Starting with Quebec and going backwards from there is a much better idea.
