Great content! First time watching your video and it’s wild that we moved to Florida from Pennsylvania as well. We lived in Levittown so not terribly far from Lehigh Valley area.
Go Iron Pigs! And Go Phillies! Dayton's minor league team is the Dragons. Used to live near Dayton, still have family there. We also used to live up the road from Allentown in Stroudsburg, but have no relatives there anymore. Originally from Wilmington, DEL, so big Phillies and Eagles fan. Currently living in NC though...

I'll let you know if there are any big community sales planned in the area.
Believe it or not, you are not alone. A ton of people have this issue. Even as a reseller myself, it’s hard to put certain items up for sale from time to time.
One time I was at a sale with my family when I was just starting to do eBay and had only watched a few TH-cam thrifting videos. You could tell someone in the family was a hunter so there was a lot of Carhartt jackets and stuff, gun parts, and hunting knives. I completely skipped the Carhartt stuff, looked through all of the name brand gun parts and bought none, and bought 2 knives. I had heard of Buck and Cutco knives so I picked up a $3 Cutco knife and a $2 Buck knife off a table filled with probably 50 knives total, I remember telling myself I didn't want to take a risk and buy more. Thinking back to that sale and knowing more brands now, every knife on that table was priced $6 and under and they were all name brands. I sold the Buck knife for like $60 and the Cutco one for $95. That could have been a life changing sale but unfortunately I was unexperienced at the time. Normally I can move on from mistakes but that sale haunts me to this day.
Every pocket has these stories. I’m sure this situation made you do a ton of research after. Now you are a better and more knowledgeable picker because of it. I always look st these situations as a learning experience. I have left thousands of dollars behind, multiple times at sales. Now I’m a better picker because of it.
Huge congratulations on the marriage, brother & best wishes to you & your family. Hopefully you had an amazing honeymoon as well. Solid score & pickups today with nothing to crazy, but still definitely make some money. Keep it rocking my man & much ❤❤
I passed up some Dan Poste boots this weekend for 30. I knew they go for a good price. But the bottoms of the shoes were kinda worn. I have to learn more about boots for sure.
It really comes down to condition. You are 100% right on it. These were vintage and a very unique design. You did the right thing passing up if the condition was questionable.
I made a couple of mistakes in the past but here are my top 2 I put down a Complete Pokemon Topps Early 2000s holo set at a crazy sale because I was overwhelmed with all the crazy stuff I was getting ( still get mad about this one to this day because the value lol) I was at an anime sale and I had a box of 40-50 sealed anime VHSs from the '80s. After I paid for them I found a SNES game in the room and completely forgot about the 40-50 VHSs. I didn't realize I had forgotten them till I got home. The SNES game was only worth about 250 and the VHSs were 1000$+ if I had got them[I scanned the whole room for the best ones :( ]
Omg! Those are some crazy misses. They will haunt you forever! Lol. It’s ok, we all have a ton that we miss. Since you paid for the VHS, did you try to go back and get them?
@@pickingandpunching Yes but it was an hour away and they were already bought by someone else at that point. But the estate sale ladies were kind enough to refund the money I paid for the VHS's :) Still a crazy sale made away with thousands in profit.
