Nice explanation of the install. I'm thinking of putting these on my 99 Valkyrie. Are these holding up well for you so far, and any slippage or issues?
They're holding up very well & good quality, in my opinion. However, I have only had a few opportunities to use them so far. It just takes time trying to find the best fit. Thankfully, the "Longhorn" edition is very adjustable. I would recommend them. Be sure to snug them up really well, where you want them, on the engine guard. Took more tightening than expected
After losing two of these pegs I said "f*ck it" and put a little bit of blue loctite on all the bolts. They are better now.
