I remember going to its premier back in the day. It sucked because most of my favorite candies and snacks hadn't been invented yet.

I like how, at the end, they all just went off to do their usual things. No drama or lingering shock. No wailing or gnashing of teeth. The devil itself and assorted minions from hell show up and cause havoc (actually, more like a bit of fun and frivolity) but then it's simply back to work now. Just another Tuesday afternoon in the convent.
I want to know if the angel with spear makes house calls. Asking for a friend.

looking beyond the technical mastery of the special effects, it's interesting to note that a group of women each holding up a cross only gets so far, but a group of men doing the same thing manage to solve the "problem"
also, the comments mentioning jesus when he's nowhere to be seen in this movie lead me to google "are jesus and st micheal the same person?"...that was a rabbit hole, for sure!

That...was VERY, VERY, VERY strange. And while I'm no fan of the Devil's PARTAY ON, BOYS, I'm even less of a fan of gthe PIETY PIMPS.
It shows that the devil has always secretly been behind movies and media. Seems to almost have started with it.
This film was made in a time when religion was a heavy influence the masses
So putting such ideas in film was a powerful notion
It does not necessarily mean that the devil is influencing the media
