    Boarding school is for parents insecurities and anxieties and their hopes... its NOT for the student.
    No institution can replace or replicate good parental care.

      The schools with uniforms, it's hard to imagine how any child would be happy there but the Green School looks interesting.
      Only a few years after the end of World War Two I was a British boy in an all German boarding school. I loved that there was no uniform or punishment and having much more freedom than at home as well as other kids who were like brothers. The teachers were educating us to be kind and tolerant as part of building a new Germany and throwing off the evil past.
      So I learned many things about being a good human being that I would not have learned in a British school with uniforms and corporal punishment and blind jingoism and racism.
