One of the reasons why I think that the West began to consume more anime is because the stories of the manga are more concise and have a beginning and an end, they also tend to have more changes forever (the deaths of the jobros) and in comics the characters always return to the same thing (one more day). The Japanese don't give a shit about what the woke American say about their work, I'm actually convinced that it cracks them up to see how some of us react. Case in point, the fact that Redo of Healer got an anime adaptation before Komi-san
Man, your videos are so fun to watch cause youre actually a normal hekkin person. 10/10 Fox Philosopher
*Wisest words of the decade*
"... it's fun to watch them bounce!"
_Alteori, 2021_
And the Japanese LOVE us "misappropriating" their culture. They find it flattering in the best way possible.
"Calm down,son. It's just a drawing. "
I find it funny that when we talk about Super Heroes, we talk about My Hero Academia who gets its inspiration from Marvel. Now, the Father of Manga, Ozamu Tezuka, got part of his inspriation from the west, chief to that, is DISNEY.
The fact that we have to explain to them that a *depiction* of a person is not an actual person
"But... Alteorrrriiii.... they shouldn't be fine objectifying themselves! everyone should suffer and lose their jobs and change their art for my insecurities!!!" this is how almost everyone on twitter and cancel culture is and I hate it.
IKR. What makes it funny is that their solution to not objectify women is to make them look more like men or as unattractive as possible. So now, no man or woman can ever find them appealing. Congratulations stupid.
@@BJC1495 their plan to equality is to make EVERYONE equally miserable.

It is not about the material, it is about wanting to be offended and thinking being offended gives you power over someone else.

I like how Alteori pronounces anime like ah-ni-may.
It is correct. None of the letters are silent.
I have difficulty concentrating on these videos because the avatar and animation is so adorable!
Alteori: "Anime Girls are not Real"
me: "yeah, they ain't real..." (cries internally)
The emotional rollercoaster that is this video gave me whiplash.
Gods I love your rants 😻😅
Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, Berserk, Fist Of The North Star, Guilty Gear, Afro Samurai, and Gundam all say no.
America's best anime to date is, Samurai Jack. And Primal. Also, RWBY is great.
Avatar the last airbender is also styled to resemble anime.
And the Boondocks.
@@davidjohnson156 love the boondocks
Your entire rant was extremely refreshing and hilarious 😂
Sometimes you just need to rant to preserve your sanity. And Sometimes I just need to listen to a rant to remind myself I am not the only sane person stressed by all this trivial madness.
Omg yes!!! I felt better lol
You're a blessing to this world Alteori. XD
i wonder how much longer this video and more furious you would be if you knew he made Power Girl.
He may have created her, but it was Wally Wood that gave her the bazongas and immortalized as more than discount supergirl.
The thumbnail you choose for this video makes me feel funny.
The furry is coming for you haha
People act like men can't be objectified or violated. And then I look at them like "Why are you not rotting away in a Sanitarium somewhere?"
Point is women don't have a monopoly in being overly sexualized.
Let’s just say Invincible is gonna show us that in a season or two.
@@michaelgarcia5680 I'm still in pain over the first 3 episodes. I'm not caught up yet.

Spoiler Warning:
I’m talking about the comics even though I wanted to see the show first and there’s gonna be a bit of rape involved.
Funny thing is, the dude who posted that tweet co-created Power Girl, a DC character who is famous for (among other things) her big fun bags
The guy who co created Power Girl. POWER GIRL. The most sexualized super heroine in DC's catalog. And he complains about boobs on female characters? XD
He became a fucking puritan
I was wondering if you were going to cover this lol. Alteori is always one step ahead.
This is why no-one reads American comics. They don't care about politics.
EDIT: In the words of Superman to modern comics: "Not. Impressed."
Yeah or in a conversation about the marines or anything else

Wow. I enjoy this channel. Someone who tells it like it is. Tell like it is channels needs more recognition. Thanks for the video. You never know what crazy do or say unless your in the know. Thanks again for the video.
Ok here’s how to write anime:
1. Deep storytelling separated in arcs
2. Dramatic Reactions
3. High Stakes
4. Lots of Unresolved Sexual tension and Blushing
5. Good fight scenes
If I missed anything just add stuff in the commnts
Flashbacks
at least 2 "ara ara" per episode, doesn't matter if related to point 4 or not.
and at least one dragon ball reference doesn't have to be as big as naruto with main character being orange and second best being dark blue or black, it can be four red stars on orange wheel somehwere in the background.
Op villains
Transformations
Sad character deaths
World ending stakes
Story never ends because there’s no season 2
That is basically good storytelling in general.
Well, there are exceptions of course.
Sometimes the anime is just so laid-back and the audiences can sit and watch and enjoy without thinking about anything.
There are reasons why _Laid-Back Camp_ and _Non Non Biyori_ are so popular.
Your videos are just so funny, what great takes xD
4:53 eh....i'm fine with what i got. not a fan of surgery. but yeah i do enjoy looking at them.
alot. i'm not exactly quiet about me reading doujinshi. (ffs i met one of the artists when i went to japan.....who was also a girl)
I love ya Alteori. Keep the ball rolling!
Is it weird that Japan seems to have several manga/animes that seem to have powerful female characters in these misogynistic forms of media.
What i find funny is that harems sometimes can have more personality/ story than some of newer western comic characters
GOOOOOO! Alteori is the Beast of Common Sense!
Wait... Did Alteori just admit to having tig ol bitties?
You heard her, artists!

Oh no...
But I'm no right to police them so...

"Let me help you" said the monkey as he pulled fish out of the water and safely up a tree to save them from drowning.
Keeping it 100, people like you get my respect.
I'm in my 20s finally learning to embrace my femininity and then we've got these Twitter weirdos telling people that looking like a female is bad. :|
I like how Alteori's voice changes abruptly when she's trying to emphasize something. It's funny.
MC Ride is my favorite anime waifu

Absolutely Love it when Alteori goes off like this. Not sure there has ever been a time when i didn't agree with what she has to say.

I grew up with Superheroes, I still love superheroes, I like some actual comics, but I also like Anime and Manga. Both have their own styles and while I may prefer Manga these days, I won’t deny the positives of comics.
i would like comics to have the balls to kill their protagonists WITHOUT bringing them back in the next issue for no reason.
I would recommend a comic on indiegogo called thomas valiant
i grew up with power rangers and digimon vhs tapes , it wasn't until i was like in middle school/ early high school til i figured out what anime was. and while i did watch mostly cartoon network and disney xd/jet x and the like most american cartoons didnt really grab my attention when i was younger most of what i watched was early morning anime mixed in with American cartoons here and there. now i dont even watch tv just tons of TH-cam and anime when i find something i like.
I like both also, but the damn political statements being made constantly in comics are ridiculous.
Loved that vid. Absolutely loved it.
TBF if I was an artist in the US and got attacked for wanting to make attractive females then I'd probably be pretty jealous of the Japanese artists haha
That gingerman allegory was... wierdly specific. 😆
Speaking of the nude weather forecast, more than two decades ago, we used to have something similar in my country, broadcasted late in the evening. The girl entered the scene nude, and during the forecast, she slowly and sexily dressed approprietly for the weather forecasted, smiled, sometimes blew a kiss to the audience, and casually walked off the scene. :-D
Gotta ask, what country was this?
Same question^
@@robertdochter277 Czech Republic. It was broadcasted 1998-2004.
Oh okay.

"That Japanese Man Yuta" does best videos interviewing Japanese people on the street. They generally DO NOT CARE about other cultures wearing kimono, eating sushi, etc. In fact many of them are very happy to see their culture being enjoyed in other countries.

Yes, no collabs, let them collar! ;)
The Intro killed me.
One of the reasons why I think that the West began to consume more anime is because the stories of the manga are more concise and have a beginning and an end, they also tend to have more changes forever (the deaths of the jobros) and in comics the characters always return to the same thing (one more day). I am not saying that there is no manga where things are not resolved (dbz) or that all comics are cyclical but it is definitely a remarkable difference
