Omg you are a true artist! I watch a ton of furniture refinishing channels, read books, etc and I'm ok at it myself. However, I learn so much from you. You are my furniture refinishing guru master. Keep going girl! You're amazing
Clearly you put A lot of work into the prep work! Thank you for letting us watch. Undoing previous work is involved. But you always make it look like just another step. It turned out very classy.
It looked pretty good before, but if it is not your style it is not your style. You did an awesome job with maintaining a classy look and I am happy you were able to keep the roses on the front. Love your work and that you share your knowledge with us! 💖💖💖
Wow...beautiful. The end results justified all the hard work. As I work on pieces. I think, what would you do. Thanks for sharing, you are truly an inspiration.
I wish I could find some stripper like what you used. Can't stand what I have. The wire brush does a great job removing the paint off of the hardware. Think that's a must. That piece is fabulous !!! Love the color and the transfer on the inside looks good. Thanks for a great video !!
Oh that is so very lovely! One of the things I've always loved about you is your attention to detail. If your name is on it, it WILL be done right! But the other part is, I know you love bright colors. Bright and beautiful and full of life! Yet, you are equally excellent at creating the elegantly classic. You set an excellent example for all of us, whether we paint for ourselves or for others. Thank you.
What i love about you! You are thorough in your tutorials. Even when I'm prepping my pieces your voice echoes in my head😀 "do it once do it right". And i go through my piece inch by inch. So thank you❤️❤️
Yeah no, thanks for the disclaimer at the end. My first chalk paint piece is an armoire jewelry box that was not painted but it still has too many crevices/drawers for it to be an ideal first time haha but your videos are so helpful! Thanks for always posting your supplies/tools in the description box and being real about the 'mistakes' and 'happy accidents'!
Your an amazing teacher . You talk to us like we are standing there with you. Thank you for explaining things slowly and throughly . Love , love, love being in your class lol. Have a great day❤️
Gorgeous. So much better than the overly flowered original - though it was pretty, it wasn't what I would want in my home. this has a softer, 'I want to hug it' feel.
It’s beautiful my friend! You are such a great teacher! I didn’t know about the Oxalic acid, that’s so helpful! I just love how you break it down step by step. Thank you as always for sharing all your experience and tips with us!
Beautifully done, very elegant looking. I start off all serious, methodical and diligent, by the end I am just haywire and glad to push it into place for it's purpose 😵
I watch all of your videos and can’t believe your (right on)choice of color and finishes. On top of that u repair your projects if needed. Just awe inspiring. I like your hair colors too!
Oh my goodness that was a lot of work. If any piece was worth spending that amount of time on, it was this one! What a beautiful piece of furniture and what a beautiful job you did on it. Just gorgeous!
WOW! So many steps but Man Alive that is gorgeous!!!!!!!!!!! I really love wooden objects whether they be big or small, painted or not! I can see you have the eye! It is amazing!!! Clap Clap Clap! Well Done!
Absolutely gorgeous! I kept thinking “omg the prep she went through 😩” I cant believe how perfect the top a sides of the drawers became. Also, the song and the end was perfect and soothing
Thank you so much!! I am so so glad the wood under was still perfect, I hate covering everything with paint lol...sounds crazy that I even said that huh?
okay so it was a ton of work, buttttt like the top stripping was satisfying lol...the hardware I didn't like but also I did hahahahaha once you reveal what's under its worth it but to get there you are like buhhhhh
This is one of the loveliest pieces of furniture I've ever seen! It was amazing how you transformed it! And your instructions are so clear and honest. Thank you!
This is one of my favorites of yours. Love the color and details. The magnolia transfer inside the door was a beautiful touch of elegance. The time invested in this project paid off! Simply lovely!!
Puuuh, a lot of work! But the top looks stunning. I think that "vintage duck egg" reproduced the classiness of this Buffet. It`s a very distinguished piece now.
Ahhh, in Germany. That explains the high end furniture you have access to. Love it. Thanks for sharing the rescue. Your stripper works way better than any I ever tried. Thanks so much for tips and tricks. Beautiful end piece.
holy cow, I didn't know you could spot treat with Oxalic acid. I have done a whole top on a piece before, but I was always told you can't spot treat and that you had to do the whole surface in the past. I also didn't know you could apply it like you did. I have always dissolved in it hot water and used that solution to treat the whole top. Can't wait to try the way you did it.
Thrilled to watch this video! Your work is spectacular. I have a double dresser I'm refinishing for myself, and my idea was to strip the white paint off the top and make it natural wood, then paint the rest of it a beautiful soft blue. Your work confirmed my decision!
It was so beautiful before too! I loved the purple flowers and writing inside. I'd cry if I had done it! But you did a fantastic job, giving her what she wanted! Both are beautiful. Too much work for me but love it.
BEAUTIFUL!! You used my favorite blending trio- you and Brandy make blending look so easy- I love the wood top- it turned out gorgeous! Thanks for sharing your talents!
Love this look. Cannot wait to try it. If it was clean wood wpuld you have primed it. Not always necessary I know but if you were selling it is that the best plan for durability and longevity
what do i think ??. i think it looks GORGEOUS. GREAT Job. Kudos. you are a very talented artist. and your inner beauty shown in your work.. (personally. the only think i'd add to it is more gold.. just my personal taste that's all). thank you for sharing.
that piece turned out beautiful!! the denatured alcohol 70% is to lift old dark stains that I learned in a furniture refinishing class I took several years ago. It took several times of pouring a little on the stain but it definetely drew the stain out so once it was stained or top coarted with your choice of finishing it didn't show at all. Thanks for your great video!
Absolutely beautiful!! I love the hidden surprise of the magnolia flowers. You LITERALLY just painted my dream buffet. I am planning to repurpose a dresser as a buffet in this exact color and natural top concept! I love that your vision coincided with mine at this moment in time! I absolutely adore and admire you and your work! 🤩🥰
I think it is beautiful now but I also liked the way it started. I think the previous painter put a lot of work into it. You are very patient as I don't know that I would have done all the stripping! I probably would have roughed up the wax and added more paint! You are definitely a professional and take a lot of pride in your work. That is why I love you so. I hope your client was happy with it.
Crazy amount of information in this video! It looks really beautiful and I hope you get many euros and kudos 😍 Your blending tutorials have really helped me with my projects - many thanks 🙏
You are amazing! I think you are a great teacher, step by step, and it gives me more confidence to loosen up and be more creative. I watch you all the time. Thank you for sharing your art!
That was a project for sure! I need a nap just watching 🤣🤣 Well Done as always Crys'Dawna! You took that piece from 80's Vegas to 1880 French Country Farmhouse! Love the color combinations!
That was very labor intense for sure the out come was so beautiful what a great idea to put the magnolia branch on the inside. I hope you have a booklet with all your work that you do besides just the vlogs. (Hardback) for sure.
This is a gorgeous piece. I love all of the bright colors that your normally blend, I love this as well. It is such a classic beauty. Thank you for sharing.❤️😊
Hey, absolutely beautiful work. I love your advice. It's common sense to me, but I adore that you include it because it's not common sense to other people. You tell it in such a way that it's not condescending or snarky. Your professionalism is to be commended! I have been wanting to get into furniture flipping as a side hustle but I live in an apartment so it's on the back burner right now. Luckily, though, I've picked up a few pieces for myself to practice on and am able to use my mom's garage. Thanks again for the wonderful videos on filled with amazing tips and tricks. 💗
Hey CrysDawna! Your videos are my favorites and I follow alot of people. You are a true furniture ARTIST. You have taught me so much. I just wanted you to know that your talent is appreciated. I love how you tell us exactly what to do and why. I am in Awe.
Gorgeous & classy! Phenomenal craftsmanship and artistry! You gave this piece a very posh and polished finish with a tad surprise of whimpsy with the transfers!
Geez!!! Whew! What a ton of work! But when its all finished and you get to sit back and actually see how damn talented you are... That has to be satisfying! Bc this turned out brilliantly! I hope your client compensated you handsomely for this generational masterpiece! 😀
I love the blue with the colors of wood tone. It is so much prettier than it was in purple. Gorgeous.
Thank you so much!
it's so satisfying to watch the paint stripping off lol. Perhaps I need to get out more.
no I agree it is so satisfying!!!!
Omg you are a true artist! I watch a ton of furniture refinishing channels, read books, etc and I'm ok at it myself. However, I learn so much from you. You are my furniture refinishing guru master. Keep going girl! You're amazing

I was soooo happy to find that it was perfect underneath, we weren't sure.....
Clearly you put A lot of work into the prep work! Thank you for letting us watch. Undoing previous work is involved. But you always make it look like just another step. It turned out very classy.
Thank you so much Leah ❤️❤️

Wow that stripper works really good. You r such a great artist. You also teach in a way that makes us feel that we can do this too. Thank u
I KNOW you can do it :) Thank you ❤️❤️
The wood under the silver is beautiful. Love the warmth and simplicity.
Glad you like it! I agree with you!! Thank you so much :)
It looked pretty good before, but if it is not your style it is not your style. You did an awesome job with maintaining a classy look and I am happy you were able to keep the roses on the front. Love your work and that you share your knowledge with us! 💖💖💖
Thank you so much friend!
Wow...beautiful. The end results justified all the hard work. As I work on pieces. I think, what would you do. Thanks for sharing, you are truly an inspiration.
Thank you very much! You are so sweet, what would CrysDawna do lol 😆 I am always here if you have questions :)
I wish I could find some stripper like what you used. Can't stand what I have. The wire brush does a great job removing the paint off of the hardware. Think that's a must. That piece is fabulous !!! Love the color and the transfer on the inside looks good. Thanks for a great video !!
I know they really took all the good stripper away a few years ago didn't they?!??!?!?

So thank you❤️❤️
Wow, thank you! Yes, I mean I don't want to have to go back and "fix" things so I get in the habit of doing it right the first time you know?
Hard work...but absolutely gorgeous! I hope your client loved it also... 🥰🥰

Thank you so much my sweet friend!! I hope you had an amazing weekend, sorry I am just getting back to you :)
Hey, absolutely beautiful work. I love your advice. It's common sense to me, but I adore that you include it because it's not common sense to other people. You tell it in such a way that it's not condescending or snarky. Your professionalism is to be commended! Luckily, though, I've picked up a few pieces for myself to practice on and am able to use my mom's garage. Thanks again for the wonderful videos on filled with amazing tips and tricks. 💗
Wow. I lover her work. I especially like her passion to share and educate as she does her work.
