OH WOW! I loved this. And the fact it's all totally free too. I loved the astronaut at the end, but also the huge animal projections too. Absolutely stunning! Plus the swings looked like so much fun too. Totally something for everyone. Wish it was on when we go back, but I see it's just there for a week :( Thanks for sharing so at least we got to see it here!

Thanks Alex!! So glad that you got to enjoy it virtually 🤗
Yes, it’s so good that it’s all totally free as it must cost a fortune to stage it.
I loved the animal projections too. I loved all the creativity of it and that fact that a lot of them were interactive - especially the swings 😀

That's a great free festival there Louise.
Looked a really good atmosphere too.
Like you, I liked the last one best but also the one in the roofless church too - seemed very calming.
Thank you for taking us around.
    Take care,
    Paul

Thanks for showing us around Louise and for waiting in that long queue at the church! I can see why people enjoyed all the colourful displays.🤩

Hi Louise, What a great idea for a mid-winter festival.
Of course BBC Bristol always appeared at the end of Animal Magic, did they project Johnny Morris too 🤣🤣
The Elysians do look like churros, especially the ones you buy pre-cooked in the shops. They are a world away from the ones you get in a churreria though. Always fascinating to see them being prepared and of course great with thick hot chocolate!!
You did well to navigate them all and get back for your bus!!
Why is Bristol always a good idea, I don't know but i've always enjoyed visiting
    Great video!!

What an incredible free event, it's a miracle that you found your way to each of the installations. There seems something breathtakingly sad about Ascendance, but we are so grateful you stood in that long queue. Hope you got to your bus ok.

It really was a miracle I found my way to each of the exhibits. There was a map provided but I had to rely on Google maps several times 🤣 Nice to see new places! Yes, got the bus okay thank you!

Such a lovely light installations. When we lived in Canary Wharf we went to the one held there every January. The Bristol one was incredible. Hard to choose your favourite. I have never visited Bristol. I hope one day I will. Wow the astronauts were amazing to watch. So mesmerising and peaceful. Thank you for showing us around Louise. Brilliant! 😊

Thanks Amanda! It really was spectacular. It’s the first time I have been to a light festival. I hope you get to visit Bristol sometime. I am discovering just how much it has to offer doing this channel and am loving it more each time I visit.

It's an incredible free festival but boy it was a lot busier when you went - opening night was a lot quieter! I think the only one which was very busy was Swing Song.
Wow, you really did go the long way around - great way to explore the city!
    Ascendance is my favourite 😁

Haha! Yes, I went a very long way around and I had done over 12500 steps before I started! I slept well after all that! I just loved Ascendance too.
