He had nothing to complain about - achieved an amazing life and enormous wealth off the talents of John/Paul . An extremely fortunate man to have fallen in with the likes of this band. And had he complained, he was replaceable, like the poor guy before him. That poor soul got screwed royally.

It's so crazy those guys basically came up with two albums worth of music in a month. They were also workshopping a number of hits that would eventually be on their solo albums.
Yes, while they were great song writers, Parlaphone, and Capital put pressure on the boys to produce more records in rapid succession, very similar to many other bands in the music business--- A prime example of a band tired of being told to produce records, controlling their content, etc, is the song "Workin For MCA" by Lynyrd Skynyrd---

@@octurn Paul is talking about one of Canned Heats hits "Going up the Country" and plays it very bad at the beginning, but yeah of course John cut him off to talk about Fleetwood mac, he was looking for that ultra specialized studio sound, and Fleetwood Mac was putting out amazing studio work at the time, but Fleetwood Mac is definitely not a better band when it comes to live performances and talent compared to the heat, John Lennon was also pretty full of himself so of course he would never say a dirty blues band that plays a lot of classics is better then Fleetwood Mac. Also when Alan Wilson of Canned Heat died their time on top of the charts died as well. Greatest experimental blues band to ever exist. And yeah I guess those Fleetwood Mac girls are "alright"
