  • In this video I test ride the Yamaha MT-09 SP 2023. This was my first try on a 'proper' big bike since getting my full license.

    Those triples sound sooo good. Would've loved to have seen your reaction in ideal conditions! Keen to see what you test next 🤙

      100% would like to fully unleash the beast. Might just wait until the 2024 model comes out to test that

    What an absolute beast of a bike 🤘
    Not an easy ride in those conditions so fair play fella 🤘
    “It’s so hard, and so am I” 😂
    Learn nothing about it, just go out and send it 😂
    Glad to see you got on with it so well, do you think you might be tempted by one of these?
    Having rode the MT-10SP I can confirm that thing is a monster 💪
    Great video mate, really enjoyed that 🤘

      It really is man, I am very tempted but also trying to be realistic with myself budget wise, will be testing a gee more bikes before biting the bullet I think. Thanks dude!

    Nice road that up to Beauly, can’t wait until I get my test done and feel the power

      Yes! Fantastic road for testing out. When do you think you might be doing your test?

    You can change the mode on the way, you just have to let go the gas for a bit.

      This is good to know for next time, thanks!

    i was in rain mode when i got my first bike and proper pooped my pants when i gave it the gas.

    • @parallelfinn

      Right? The realisation than rain mode is the weakest srtting and it still feels so powerful 😅

    Bruh you had no business riding in those conditions lol. You’ve got some balls!

    Was that the SP? It’s a belter. And that will have felt like sitting on a missile after years on the 500. 😂

    • @parallelfinn

      It was! I need to try the standard I think because I want to know the suspension difference. But christ is felt fast, just instant power that just keeps going

    • @parallelfinn

      Rain mode and power mode were night and day too

    I should buy this motorcycle as my first motorcycle?

    • @parallelfinn

      It really depends on you as a rider but I wouldn't recommend it personally. 400-650cc I think is the best range for first bike, still loads of power.

  • @xkiriyu

    Whats the difference between normal MT-09 and the SP?

    • @parallelfinn

      I believe the suspension is the main thing, can't remember if the standard has a quickshifter or not. The SP also has cruise control I believe.

    • @xkiriyu

      @@parallelfinn so does that mean the SP is a better bike then?

    • @parallelfinn

      The SP is a better but more expensive bike, yeah

    Beginner? You seem to know how to ride a motorcycle. I'm a beginner and as much as I would love to buy a MT-09 I probably need to start on a 500cc.

    • @parallelfinn

      I called myself beginner because I still consider my actual riding skill quite low and this was the first bike of this capacity I've ridden. I would definetly go with a 500! :)
