Thanks for giving me a little lesson I'm new to drones and just bought my first qinux k8 to try and learn how to fly as I want to buy a better one in the near future, from the UK thanks for the video mate 👍
It took some time fussing around with the Camera App, but it now drone camera easily connects to my Android and everything works fine. the Flight Trim can more easily be adjusted when on the ground, just activate the Trim button and tap the Right stick in the direction you want the drone to lean to. If it's flying away forward, just tap the right stick back a couple of beeps, wait three seconds and hear an A-OK beep and fly. If you need more adjustment, just repeat the process, but land it first.
Thanks for that. Bought one for a grandson and am at the moment trying to learn how to fly it so I can show him. Have a DJI Phantom 4 myself , the P4 flies itself virtually but this little thing has taken some doing. Your video was most helpful because I have done nothing but crash the thing, turn off avoidance and calibrate are my 2 take aways from your video. The speed thing has me confused though because there is no indication on the controller of what speed it is going at. Thankyou again, a top video and I'm a dog guy so the barking was great, the dog's sounded like they were enjoying themselves.

BUT like some commented below, I can not get the front camera to work, ONLY the bottom camera
Where do I switch cameras ??? The app does not tell me
Have you tried the features in the app, like where you can draw a route for it to follow? I think it's also meant to be able to follow a subject? What about the return to home feature, does that work? I'm assuming it uses the phone to know where home is? Thanks

Yo, I recommend a gimble or something like that if you want to take stable videos on your phone.
This looks very similar to the Qinux K8 drone I bought last year.
I notice you didn't fit the blade protector fenders or the ball control extension arms, which came with mine, which do allow more delicate control.
first thing i did with mine was strip the antenna out of the controller and replace with a professional grade one. range is about a mile now.

This is fine for me but the signal gets weaker when fly a bit further or higher
How can I calibrate this drone? It doesn’t hover. It immediately moves forward when I want to go up. I tried the reset for it but does nothing.
Push left and right sticks in wards angle for 2 sec
U will see flashing lights as well u will hear a beep

Set the gyros (rotate 3 times each flat, & then upright)
I believe thats how compass is calibrated. Gyro generally requires drone to be stationary on flat level surface
Only GPS drones do that
How to connect esc 4k camera with app? It's working bottom camera only. Plz give some suggestions
In the app itself there is an option to switch between the cameras
@@GUYBITTON I tried to connect wifi cam it's is not connected to drone but drone is connecting only to wifi uav app but there is no option to switch camera option. Can you please suggest an app for that.

Hey there! When I turn on the drone, and then the controller, it beeps a bit but them the lights on the drone start flashing again shortly after so doesn't seem connected. Don't know how to sort that.

You need to power on the Drone then power on the controller then on the left side joystick of the controller you need to input up and then down and then the Drone should be bounded together and then you press the button that automatically takes off

Ohhh thank you so much for the response. I tried it and it did take off but then just lands again and the lights start blinking again. I also cannot find the drone's wifi hotspot connection in my list of wifi networks and therefore cannot use the app. Suggestions?

The wifi network : FLOW_8K_OCB97C juat shows connected without internet, is that expected?

Make sure u charge battery for 1hr before doing anything
I charged etc. manage to get it to fly up and land but my phone never seems to manage to connect to the device's wifi because the app just says "please connect to device wifi", how did you get that part done and does the app show anything about it connecting successfully? (sorry this is my first ever drone so I may be missing something...)

K8 camera is great on mine.

that is easily some of the worst camera quality I've seen from a digital camera in the last 10-15 years, surely it cant be any more than 480p, and in pretty much every listing for it they have the audacity to say it has a 4k or even 8k camera which is just insane, at first glance it looks like an unbelievably good deal for what's shown on the listings, but of course it's too good to be true

Power on drone, then head over to your wifi and wait till the drones wifi appears then connect, it will prompt u with a message that there is no wifi connection, just ignor that, then head over to app and u should see the camera is now working

i was scared that i need a gps from a video and opsycal avoidance until I saw this video.
I just bought one of these off of Walmart online it was supposed to have GPS but it doesn't that's false advertisement it advertises that it's a GPS drone
Get your money back and send a complaint!!

If you have an android phone go to the files folder in you Android phone and go to the section called videos
And it should be there
