The scene with Abigail listing their names and sins is so perfect. Alisha Weir was great, she sounded like a grown woman in a child's body, her delivery and wording was spot on. Fun fact: The Swan Lake song used in the beginning was also used in the beginning of Dracula in 1931. Such a classy link between these two films.

Swan Lake was the title music to the 1931 Dracula. Abigail was a real surprise for me. I didn't know much about the film, saw it and loved it.

YES! I have been waiting for this since I saw it in theaters. This is such a fun movie. I absolutely loved it. The cast really delivered. Dan Stevens has range! Matthew in Downton Abbey to this piece of garbage. 😆 And Alisha Weir killed it. Hanging so much of your film on a child's performance can be a risk, but she totally pulled it off. So glad you guys loved it too! ❤

One thing I didn't like about the movie is where room full of dead people and no one can't smell them the whole house should have the smell of death. And when she fell into the slush of dead people do you know the germs and bacteria that in that slush should have killed her instantly.

I loved this movie so much!! The only thing that thing that took me out of the experience was the disgusting pool of rotting corpses. Not because it was gross, it looked great for the ick factor, but there is NO WAY those people would be in that house for any amount of time and not be gagging and retching from the smell of all the decomp. I don't care where the pool was, that house would reek. I know it's a silly thing to get hung up on, but even though i can suspend belief to enjoy things quite a bit, come on. It felt like a scene that was thrown in there just for the gross out factor because they could, not because they should.
