We finally got to see the real Lestat and it made me sob. Sam Reid is an amazing actor

Armand is the ultimate rebound queen. His maker ditched him, Lestat in the 18th century ditched him after learning his powers, and Louis ditched him.😮😅😅

This episode was super satisfying for me. Seeing Louis' character growth and the way he and Lestat come together at the end to mourn their daughter was just amazing. And I definitely got chills with the "I own the night" line. Can't wait for season 3!

I don't think Louis and Lestat got back together. I think they just reconciled. They had a moment of truth and reconciliation, and Louis left him in New Orleans and went back to Dubai on his own. Remember he said he was companion enough for himself at that time.
@@cullenarthur8879 I think you’re so right- I feel like season 3 will build their relationship to then being back together (possibly) but right now I’m just happy for Louis!!! He owns the night!
Armand must have told Daniel to " rest" and gave him the dark gift .....they were always low key flirting anyway haha ..and now Armand can have his facinating "boy" forever
RIGHT!! I need that entire scene though. I can’t wait to see their relationship going forward… I’m so excited
I always thought they didn't liked each other but then when Daniel did the reveal and Armand didn't looked at him with pure hatred but almost wanting to explain himself to him too, and just didn't because Louis was his primary concern and left the room, I was so confused. So I'm glad there's this whole story about them from the books we get to explore.
Something to think about - Armand said he preserved Louis happiness. Daniel made Louis happy. Maybe his turning Daniel wasn't fully out of spite. Perhaps it was as apology gift to Louis. Perhaps it's because Armand finally found someone who could best him & hold his own against him. And by being his maker - he would always have someone he couldn't read and would therefore be a match for his own mind. Or perhaps Daniel wanted the gift. We'll see in season three perhaps.
