As a 31 year old gay man living in Australia this is the first podcast I’ve ever let pop my cherry! When I first heard a clip from you both I thought it was going to be very conservative opinions, supporting the titty babies of the world. I was sooo pleasantly surprised, love you both ❤
This is hilarious! As a kid, we had a few cats, my mom was that "crazy cat lady" I swear, but we had this one who was an indoor/outdoor cat. He was neutered, but he was also brawny, bow-legged, squat-headed, total bruiser. He actually did patrol the neighborhood, helped to maintain the chipmunk numbers, would sunbath in the middle of the huge catnip plant my mother had in the garden, and actually learned to ring the sleighbells my mom had hung on the front door one Christmas, but never took down...for the cat. He lived to be a very old cat. He survived being shot at with scars across one side of his face. He survived untold cat fights with area strays, leaving him with pierced, nipped, torn ears. He survived being poisoned by a crazy neighbor. He survived catching his leg on a chainlink fence that ripped the skin of his inner thigh. (Cats skin isn't directly attached to their muscle layer like humans) But through it all, he would come home like a GenX kid, when the street lights came on. He would ring those sleighbells and we'd have to let him in. This Boss of a cat lived to be 22yrs old. Purred like nobody's business and was massive cuddle-slut! He looked like a beat up cross between Garfield and Morris the cat (of the 9 LIves catfood ads), but run over by a Mac truck! He was short, bowlegged, squat-headed, had a crimp in his tail, and by the time he finally passed away he had maybe half of one ear left! Talk about a "Working Cat!" And his name: Sunny! (I had named him when I was 5...I was just a dumb kid!)
I LOVED the People's Court with Judge Wapner! I'm an 80s girl too! Younger people have no idea what it was like with only 5 channels and the whole thing shut down after Johnny Carson. Lol love you girls!!❤
The way I cackled and howled when you showed the picture of the Mormon kids... a manager at my office came over to make sure I was okay because I was laughing so hard. I love the Next Door App readings.
I love you girls and thank you for being my blue spot in a hemorrhage of red puke. Being a lifelong Oklahoma citizen, I am tiring of waiting for our state to evolve.
You know that bee situation, I think it's just a roast of your flowers lady. Our bee keeping neighbor gave us honey, as a thank you for maintaining a massive hedge all around our property of lilac bushes, which ended up giving a distinct lilac-infusion to the honey. Maybe if you had cooler more stand-out flowers, they'd get appreciation :P (real story, but obviously joking, I don't think bee keepers owe their neighbors honey)
Ok, so I'm today's year old when I realized that ya'll had a tv show. Oh my Gawd...I now have something to watch LOL...to see Pumps aka the Princess Diana of OKC in action is worth the extra expense LOL
As someone who was born a boomer,1963, I take no offense. Although being on the tail end of the boomer generation I did transition at an early age and now identify as gen-x. I also fully understand your plight of living in a red state. I'm as blue as they come, and live in Georgia's 14th, I'm sorry we couldn't send someone with at least an ounce of decency, or the ability to critically think at a level higher than a 5th grader. I am proud that I was a part of sending two awesome senators to D.C. and like to think my vote was one of the 11,780 that put Biden over the top. Love you both keep up the great work.
I live on the “nice” side of town and all the old people comment on ND like “what are we gonna do about all these homeless people?” Like, ok Susan….what do you want? Purge? Incarceration?
Pumps having no idea about cats is the funniest fucking thing I’ve heard, I’m at the gym laughing my ass off and probably burning more calories from listening to this podcast than the squats I’m suppose to be doing 🤣🤣🤣
We have a nonprofit here in Dallas called Barn Cats Incorporated that re-homes feral cats at barns, warehouses, etc. in order to keep a handle on rodent populations.
We had 3 tv stations to listen. I choose what gets played in my car, music, podcasts etc my Gen X is aware I’m short on time she’s got it for many more years and it’ll just get better. I get to enjoy it while I can .
My grandfather was stationed in SLC during WW II...he would invite the boys in and they left knowing more than when they came in, and PaPaw had company for an afternoon. He was a Methodist lay preacher.
Me again! Someone put a hotdog under the wiper on my windshield!! I laughed for 30 minutes solid.... You can bet I took it and placed it under some other lucky hotdog lover wiper.... pay it forward!!
LOL! Got directed to your podcast by TH-cam because of the Mary Trump interview, which I enjoyed, but I had to laugh over blasting football players for not holding their own water bottles. I am a 70 year old male who played football at the high school level where we did hold our own bottles. But at Division 1 college and the pro level, it's not about strength or being spoiled (well, maybe it's a little bit about being spoiled), it's about time. There is a very short time during a time out. The crew needed to get out there, provide water (Gatorade, etc) and towels to anyone who wants it, collect all their stuff and get off the field, running in both directions. It is must faster to hold the bottle yourself than it is to hand out the bottles and then have to collect them. Also, during the game, the players' hands, especially the linemen, take a beating and frequently have fingers taped up, making it harder to squeeze the bottle. Hope this helps. I know I'm not your targeted audience but I liked the interview.
26:05 my fourteen year old dog passed away last week... He was literally born in my lap, and died in my lap. 😭 I have moments, but if I stop moving or doing stuff, I'll spiral.
Years ago, I went home to care for my dad after he suffered a stroke. I learned then the only thing worse than Fox News was Fox News 24/7. Thank whatever he's not here to vote!!
Did you think some of those posts on Back Door were met as sarcasm, the bee one had to be sarcasm. Besides the bees were doing her a service, pollination of her flowers.
While sitting outside in the evening, I saw a great horned owl swoop down and take a calico kitten. Before I could get over to the crime scene to free the kitten, the owl had flown away, kitten and all. The following evening, the woman who lived on the corner with a hundred cats and was always drunk comes stumbling down the alley. Spotting me sitting there, she asked, "Have yoooouuuu seen...seen my...kitty?" I asked, "What did it look like?". She replied, "It was...was calyp....calycoco." to which I replied, "Ummm, nope." I didn't have the heart to tell her. I was surprised she even realized it was missing.
Great episode! Another goldmine of Karen complaints would be code violations! Our family has fallen victim to many a neighborhood Karen regarding this! I’ll see if I can dig some up, they are hilarious!
About the cat needing martial arts training...my cat had the same problem getting beat up everyday 😢 but my husband had a great idea to teach him "knuckle training" he had the cat watch Mike Tyson for a while and then he'd give him toys to attack and let him also attack him lmao it actually worked and my cat hasn't got beat up since
y’all remind of my chosen moms! y’all are so hilarious but easy to watch! i have been binging you both for a couple of weeks now! love you both!! The way y’all describe the right is scare true too 😂 I’m from sc! i would know 😭
I LOVE these episodes! Reading the neighborhood posts KILLS ME every time I DIE laughing with yall! The audacity of these people to think the whole world revolves about them. Audacity must be on sale these days and the line "White people call the police like its customer service" I gotta get that on a shirt ASAP (Although, I know how yall feel about that) Thank yall for keeping this podcast going I share it with everyone here in Amarillo (Houston Native) and last but not least I love the way Jennifer told Pumps she'd kill it as Judge Judy/Pumps

I just lost my grandfather after taking care of him for a year after my grandmother died..thank you for the laughs! 💖
I’m sorry for your loss
The way I cackled and howled when you showed the picture of the Mormon kids... a manager at my office came over to make sure I was okay because I was laughing so hard. I love the Next Door App readings.
These neighbor episodes have officially become my favorite and I look forward to more. Fucking hysterical!! Love you ladies!!
About the Bee Story. Aren't the bees pollinating the lady's flowers thus making her garden more prolific?😂
I wish I was married and needed a divorce so I had a reason to hire Pumps.
Actually what makes me feel better is the clothing crimes that happen on the daily at Walmart. Puts a huge smile on my face.
I found religious kryptonite. Get a welcome mat with pride/BLM etc. on it. They read it and run away😂
Gladys Kravitz!! Dying. Lol it does age us tho....🤣🤣🤣
Self defence class for my cat Tiffany took me out 😂😂😂

An academic and an athlete coming together to make this world a better place ❤
Pumps not laughing at her father-in-laws death is too relatable.
I love you girls and thank you for being my blue spot in a hemorrhage of red puke. Being a lifelong Oklahoma citizen, I am tiring of waiting for our state to evolve.
i was very concerned for your health for a few seconds
@@miyane994 I'm concerned for your grammar.
Here from Oklahoma as well. I moved out into the country area to not have neighbors 😂
As a liberal born and raised in Texas I can completely understand what you are saying.
Perfectly sad. Beautiful set actually poetic
I liveeee for the Nextdoor episodes! Keep them coming!
Thanks for keeping it real ladies. 🤘
LOVE the Next Door commentary episodes!!!! You need to make these into their own podcasts
You should see what I read in very privileged, old-couple Sedona, AZ. A lot of charity, but occasionally some MAGAt explodes.
You know that bee situation, I think it's just a roast of your flowers lady. I haven't laughed so hard in a while!! Thank ladies!!!

The Tiffany cat bit Has to be a parody 😂❤
I thought the guy who wrote about taking pride in one’s appearance during COVID was going to be Josh Welch.
Pumps saying "abdicate" when she meant "advocate"...
Maybe she did want to 'abdicate' as she is royalty after all...
😅
Thanx for the laughs ladies😆
The bees are pollinating her flowers helping them grow, if anything she should pay her neighbor lmao i swear the American education system is a joke
Judge Pumps could be a segment where she makes a ruling on AITA posts
That position's already taken by several female tv judges sporting pumps or stilettos. lol
Me yelling “Segway!!!” 😂
I remember when we had a smoking section in high school.
Me too
Love you Pumps about pets GOD BLESS YOU!!!
These Nextdoor messages were hilarious! And for real for real, we need Judgy Judy on the pod!
That'll be great. Angie and Judy will have a legal feast.

My neighbor calls the cops when the wind blows leaves off trees.
17:10, they are not called morman.
I love the fact that somebody named her dog Bologne. And the image of her running down the street in her undies yelling "Bologne!" is so adorable!
i'd like an update on Tiffany, my cat keeps scissors and matches in her purse so i'm not concerned about her. but i don't know about tiffany
An excellent response!

My neighborhood has solar panel salespeople (teenagers) on hoverboards! It's so weird
