I appreciate that. I'll keep slowly grinding along and eventually I learn how to do this travel, flying, video thing I'm trying to do :-). Thanks for watching and for the comment.
Thanks 👍 Got the oil on the way back from the States on a stop-over (that lasted a month), in none other that Cali, Colombia. I seem to always get stuck there for some reason. Thanks for the kind words and the comment.
I told you (ha ha)! Yeah the wind wasn't fun... and unfortunately I'm not quite finished with it yet. I took Michele's truck and got some Motul in Cali, so I'm all good now. Now if I could only use it and get out of this wind because I obviously can't fly in it. Good to hear from you my friend!
You hate tuk-tuks but I think you are missing out. If you got one, you could do an engine swap and it could be crazy fast and you'd have plenty of room for your gear, wouldn't notice any weight or wind, along with no chance of burning your wing. Maybe you don't hate them, you just know that they are the solution 😅👍
Oh man you had me laughing hysterically! You're right! Why didn't I just modify a Tuk-Tuk and go through South America (hmmmm.... season two....). Dude, too funny! Thanks for writing.
Oh jeez, Kris, laughing my butt off here. Not at you, well, maybe I am!! Funny as hell. I get it that you hate the Tuk Tuks. Man, those roads are frekin' horrible. Sand.....I hate sand. Been down because of sand. Well, you answered a question I had in my mind about the eclipse flight. Hadn't heard you say anything about it 'till now. I didn't realize how much delay there was in uploads. Hope that the eclipse flight was good! I didn't notice, I was riding my Harley. My wife rode her own bike (Deluxe) before she got sick. Miles of horrible weather and cold together out west and the only time she ever 'freaked out' was because of the kind of wind you were in. Terrified she was going to get blown into oncoming traffic. That 'wind sail' you got behind you couldn't be helping either. Man, the adventure continues, my friend! BTW I'm down at Port Isabel for the Boca Chica launch on the 5th. I'll catch up with you after the next video. Wheels up!! (you 'up' on Anthony Vella's acccident?)
Good to hear from you. Yeah the sand isn't a great surface to ride on... and we're about to see more of that! The episodes are delayed because it takes quite a long time to edit them, and I have to make sure I'm constantly adding content too. It depends on where in the series we are, sometimes it's up to 9 weeks back and sometimes I barely get the video uploaded from that week on Wednesday night (I have pulled more than one all-nighter to keep the videos coming each Thursday). So there are and will be times when you are watching something that was filmed that week, and other videos are weeks back. But they are all in order. The wind is about to get worse too - so hang on! Enjoy Port Isabel! I don't know the pilot but some people told me to check it out on Facebook. Hope he recovers. Looked like a terrible fall. I also hope someone takes that wing and tests it to see if the manufacturer is pushing the envelope a little too much with that model. Wouldn't want a repeat of the Kougar 3. Thanks for writing.
What's the weight of the bike, loaded? My Indian Roadmaster is roughly 950 lbs., but the center of gravity is a lot lower. And it certainly has the power to pass the "circus tent" when necessary! Now I know what I'm going to get you for your birthday: a Tuk-tuk! Maybe a Hot Wheels edition of one.
Not sure, but it's much heavier than I want it to be. It's so lovely taking it out for rides without all the gear on it - It actually feels like a normal bike again. 950 pounds! Wow, that qualifies for having to stop on the scales like the semi's do! Geez! You're right, it's not the weight, it's the CG. Look up the seat height on the stock model of my bike and you're balls will be screaming at you. Now imagine that you had to stiffen up the suspension due to the weight so there is no height relief when you sit on it... and all the weight is above that height! Welcome to my world. Whose idea was it to take a motorcycle through South America with a paramotor (what an idiot!). Looking forward to my Tuk-Tuk! Always good to hear from you bro!
Ha ha! Oh man that would have been an expensive trip for some oil. I did eventually get the oil in Cali Colombia on my way back from the US. Yeah... I was stuck in Cali AGAIN for a month! Long story, but I'm not making an episode out of it. Next week's episode is my return to and leaving Piura. Thanks for writing.
I admire your endurance. Another good video. As always, looking forward to the next one.

Ok, lack of patience shown this episode! 😂
I bet your body hurts after fighting that wind. The search for motul carries on…

Thanks Ripa! Hope all is well with you.
14:33 is that a polo helmet? Lmao. Good episode as always.
All the moto-taxi drivers have those helmets for the passengers. They do look like a polo helmet! Ha ha

Admit it, you went back for two-stroke oil, the eclipse was just a flimsy excuse ;-)
