James is the best on camera. He speaks very well. He’s very good at describing what’s going on with the cars, how the runs felt, what adjustment he thinks need to be made, and he’s always down for a full send.

@@hiwayhighway9925 All things considered, most problems were caused by doing dumb things like seeing how much power a questionable junkyard motor could handle, poor tuning, etc. As far as actual mechanical issues outside of the results of learning or outright abuse, she's been pretty solid

A very productive week that also shows how much maintenance you do need to do on a race car like swapping parts that might be good, but still might break under pressure. Basically next year it would be smart to disassemble most modules of the car for even closer inspection to remove this possibility.

James is such a pro. Dude knows so much about vehicles it’s insane.
Props to James for removing the broken axle bolts on the road at the track. Some people send them back to us with out attempting to remove the broken bolts. If the axle isn’t old and rusty or torqued to the point it’s ruined anyway, I usually get them out with a small center punch and a small ball peen hammer. Hold the punch straight up near the edge of the bolt and hammer a small divot. Put the point of the punch in the divot at an angle and tap it out with the hammer. It works 75% of the time if the broken bolts aren’t overly seized...
Jesus Christ.. I see exactly what Garrett was saying in his Facebook post. There's literally 100 people at all times just swarming their pit. This truly shows how professional their team it. On the road for a week straight. When they aren't in a random hotel room, they're either driving a long distance, trying to run consistent drag passes, fixing a car, editing these killer videos, or loading and unloading their equipment. Also signing TONS of autographs, and interacting with the hordes of fans. Holy shit man. Major respect for Cleetus, James, and their crew. Unbelievably professional, courteous, genuine people.
