@@samsdoinstuff slinging dirt isn’t monotonous really if you treat it like a battle, you against mother nature and if when your shift is done you won then you get to do it all again tomorrow, it does help that I loved playing with toy diggers as a kid and now I have big boys toys 😂🏴👍🏻
What an improvement Sam. That looks great. Have I told you lately how much I enjoy your channel? Thanks for another video buddy. Take care and keep doin stuff.
Dude this video is super inspiring. Wood yard, stone walls (looks amazing by the way) all I need is some ancient history and maybe a bit of physics, MY CHURCH 🧬☀️
Good morning Sam! That wall looks great, I wish i could get my hands on some of that sandstone foundation block. I am in central Mn and we have granite here and boulders not much for cut stone. Anyway have a great day!
Good morning! Thank you very much! Yeah, I really lucked out with the sandstone. The realtor said we could throw it away if we wanted. I said, no way! I'll find a use for it 🤠👍
Looking good sir! Are you confident on the rope holding while being buried? Hav8ng the concrete base is gonna be awesome for firewood. Have to pick up a sweeper attachment for the tractor now ;)
Thank you! Oh no! Another attachment?!? Maybe I can get sponsored like the big guys 😉 That rope came from the railroad tie retaining wall. I think it's almost 100 years old. It'll last 🤠👏
I've got some rocks. You got the stones. Let's get my yard DONE! (By the way, my neighbor came by with his HUGE Excavator and removed about 40 stumps in 6 hours or so, and some of them were HUGE. I'll be posting a video of it as soon as I get done editing (oh joy), but you're right, the things you can DO with one of those bad boys!
Exactly 💯 I keep wondering that every time I work around here. I try to imagine an old farmer standing in the exact spots I am and wonder what they would think of how I'm managing the property now. I hope they'd be pleased 🤠👍
Great question. That rope came from an old railroad tie retaining wall and lasted several decades. It was used for the same thing. It'll last just fine 🤠👍

Thank you! It was fun and not as monotonous as slinging dirt. I gained a lot of respect for landscapers who do that all the time 🤠👍
