Self-Realization Fellowship monk Brother Satyananda shares wisdom from Paramahansa Yogananda on how you can establish, maintain, and live inside a spiritual fortress that guards and protects your inner life, while still living and interacting with a world that can be in conflict with the goals and principles of the spiritual path.
This video is part of the 2023 SRF World Convocation, a free weeklong program of online classes on Paramahansa Yogananda’s “how-to-live” teachings and meditation techniques, guided group meditations and kirtans (devotional chanting), virtual pilgrimage tours to the ashrams where Yogananda lived and communed with the Divine, and more.

Recently, I traveled much of what you were describing with my father as he approached death and I arrived at a steady heart only after much suffering. If only I had this approach, I would have been a better soul mate for him in the process. But no regrets, for I have it now. Your strategy could not be more timely. Blessings to you and SRF!

"We want to shift our attention to the Inner Self. I have just gone from knowledge to conviction through the blessing of Guru in meditation. To constantly focus on my goal to become one with LOVE. Successful people in life have concentration on their goal and keeping their focus on their time spent towards their goal. Conviction comes from the heart and soul not the body and mind.
