@@joecrandle4969 very popular hun. But we don't get the huge prize money seen on the American circuit so our best pro cowboys usually ride over in the States. Every country town usually has an annual rodeo. It's so much fun and I followed the circuit for many years with my boyfriend who was a bareback and bull rider ..He had a property and normal job as a plumber though too as prize money does not allow one to be professional here.

LOL, our girls did their best routine to "Tricky". :) Eye of the Tiger actually sounds really hard. It seems like the bouncier, funkier tunes lend themselves more easily to cheer choreography. I'll bet your teams and the student body loved it, though!

When our eldest daughter was in high school, this was already an oldie but goodie. Her history teacher would play this song when giving a big test. "Man, the energy of it - with Mr T rising up and Rocky getting soft and doing commercials. But there was music on the cassette already'''. BOMP, BOMP, BOMP - 'Another One Bites the Dust by Queen'! Stallone couldn’t get the publishing rights. The task of writing a theme song for 'Rocky III' was given to the group 'Survivor' and the song they came up with...."Eye of the Tiger". The title 'Eye of the Tiger' originated from one of the movie's phrases when Apollo says: “You had that eye of the tiger, man, the edge …. You gotta get it back.” That had to be the hook for this new song said 'Survivor' and the rest is music/movie history.

Goodness. This takes me back. When I was in 4th grade this song was everything. My mom tended an oldtimers bar near my school and after class got out I'd walk to the bar and play Ms. Pacman, listen to Eye of the Tiger on the jukebox, and drink a Strawberry Crush.
