The thing was back in the day there was maybe 1 or 2 good songs on an album but the rest was not really good. There would be a really popular song that a band was known for (one hit wonder) but never went anywhere else. I wouldn't buy the albums then, just the single (45 record). Why pay for a whole album when you'd never listen to it. Sometimes there were bands that a whole album ended up being really good but they were the exception.

In my opinion their best songs were never released as singles, but some hits you may enjoy are I Can't Hold Back, High On You, The Search Is Over, Burning Heart. For the deeper catalogue, just off the top of my head: Heart's A Lonely Hunter, Man Against The World, Rebel Son, Half Life, Silver Girl, Caught In The Game, Slander, Moment of Truth (there's plenty more though) :D
