I started practicing with music lyrics, I had a notebook and I just wrote the lyrics of my favorite songs on it. It really helped me a lot!!

As an online writer who majored in English Literature, I found your tips on writing really effective. As an advanced level speaker with good writing skills, I found all your tips relatable. Your points on not checking my work to using complex sentences, they were all so effective, as I am guilty of all quoted mistakes above from time to time. Even, here I've used some complex sentences. *Great* ! Number 1 and 4 *go hand in hand* ( = work very well together, exist together) - use easy language and lower the word count, it will get you such higher scores on your IELTS or TOEFL by making it easier to read. *Informative video!*
For Your English on Toefl you should write more words to get a better score.

I have one more tip. As a teacher I accept only handwritten pieces of writting, not printed ones, as I want my students to think about their spelling and not rely on computer's correction. It takes way more time to check because not everyone's handwriting is easy to decode, but it's really worth doing as it brings great results. Love your videos, Lucy 😘
