Happy bday . I'm a 72 baby to but a June baby. I just made over hundred of the hexs to slow stitch onto a quilt I'm making for my granddaughter it's a bubble bee and sunflower quilt well will be when finished. I found they do end up slight different if your not careful . Your circle and centre must be spot on. I've sewn mine down and sniped the cotton out the centre . Put the knot on the side you want facing up makes easier to snip. You do use a lot more materail by making them this way. Hope you enjoy your day sending you many blessing for your bday ❤

Happy Birthday to you!🎉. These flowers are just so great! I had never done English Paper Piecing even though I had quilted lots before joining slow stitch. So when I learned it, it was with Kathryn of K3N. I do like the idea of holding pieces in my hands and stitching them, and then adding them to my piece kind of finished.
It’s great.. create the pieces and play with the positions

Thank you Corrine ,I hope you had a lovely birthday ,I am playing catch up so it will have come and gone. Never having done quilting or applique I never knew about cutting on the bias. Is that only for shapes with a curve ? Sorry probably a dumb question.🙄 French General fabric lends itself to this sort of thing ,it is beautiful.
Hi Corrine. I’ve made those hexis for years like that. I don’t go through the center each time, only once at the beginning, then catch each of the corners and pull in. No they aren’t perfect but neither is anything else I do! LOL. I don’t plan on making a quilt with them (but who knows!)
I turned on this video this morning and a thought came to mind, I wonder if one of your dragonflies you did awhile back would fit in this? Maybe not because of the colors. Would love to see one of them come into play in one of your pieces. ❤️

HAPPY BIRTHDAY! 🎂I am new to embroidering and slow stitching so I've been watching a lot of video's. I love yours how you just create with your imagination. I do have a question though. I'm looking at your pencil marks that don't have fabric covering them wondering how do you get them out? Do they erase or do you have some nifty trick? Thanks.

Happy birthday Corrine, it was my 75th birthday yesterday 1949. I spent the day with lots of visiting family. My hubby took me out on Saturday and guess where I spent most of my time In the charity/thrift shops, lol. I found lots of great bits for my slow stitching. Great idea from Kathryn, I'm planning on giving this a try. Thank you so much. Love Bella xx😄😄🥰
