A lot of people criticising Jack but fail to forget insurance could be an issue also theft rate of S3/RS3 is extremely high. He also has a work van and car shares with his missus. End of the day he won it for £9 and pocketed 20/30k. That will fund his wedding and house for his soon to be wife. Absolutely nothing wrong with that at all. He might spend 3-5k on the wedding and use the remaining to buy a house/upgrade his current one. We shouldn’t judge something we know nothing about. Wishing him the best of luck.

Yeh I have a 2017 rs3 saloon which is higher spec than this one, but agree should’ve got minimum £40k as mine is worth at least £38k

Sorry guys. I should have stipulated 20/30/40k+. But at the same time Calvin is a trader and I’m willing to bet the offer was low to mid 30s judging by the valuations mentioned above.
@@landlordfortenants3256 i wouldn't say that id say they depreciate quite normal/not that great- you can get a an early 2012 rs3 for £15k now so with that car originally costing around 45k back then your talking £30k loss in 8 years thats a 66% drop in value. To give a comparison of a ford focus rs on a 2009 (older) which cost £28k new the cheapest you can find is £17k.. thats a loss of £11k in 11 years and only 39% drop in value, id class the rs as a car thats good at holding its value.

Cracking roads on that journey. Once went from Surrey to Fife, flying out of London City Airport to collect a heavily modified caddy van. Trouble was it only had the 1.9 SDI lump and around 90bhp. Maxxed out at 70mph but lovely (empty) roads none the less.
Editing skills improving massively, so much more engaging.

Calvin man, love that you have an RS3 on the channel ! I just bought a brand new one fully optioned a bit less than 3 months ago. The odometer is only at 302 miles at this point, I can't wait to break it in to be able to thrash it then, 3-4k miles in tuning. Excited to see if you keep the RS3, would love to see build content on the RS3. Does "Will VRS" tune remotely? I am in the States.

@@omarwajeh2788 Sorry, I am not understanding your comment. The US RS3's came straight from the factory in Germany not sure how they differ? True we only get the Sedan and not the SportWagen "that is certainly different". True we can not get base models stripped down with cloth seats and no sunroof. All of our cars come equipped with leather, alcantara seating, mag ride and other options that are base for US cars , can not be deleted. The US cars , even 2020 do not come with the European OPF exhaust filters so, our exhaust, especially if equipped with the Audi Sports Exhaust as mine is are still loud "well OEM loud" without the restrictions of the OPF. The companies here like IROZ are making 1,250+ HP on fully built cars. The cars fully built without upgrading internals are pushing up to 900HP + reliably without blowing up.
