Worst excuse ever for selling the car, it was always on the cards it’s what you do for a living.. This Channel is getting painful and predictable to watch. I came back because of the Alfa , something different other than the usual German stuff every other channel does..

You drive so many different cars it's hard to find one that gives you that buzz, after a while once your used to them you feel a change to get that buzz back! Disappointing development this mate, Michelin are doing ps4s in 18" apparently as the GR Yaris is running them. Personally I'd hold out a bit and get some on the alfa. Tune it for more power, and see what it's like in better weather. 400 miles isn't enough time to judge a car, I think it would be a real shame to let it go before experiencing what it has to fully offer. I'd chop off my left nut to own that car. Merry Christmas dude and all the best for next year ✌️
Agree - this is an absolute beast of a car in our cold damp climate if you leave the factory Corsa tryes on. It’s not Italy 🇮🇹 here. I put winter tyres on mine (Pirelli Sottozero) and provides good grip for the 500bhp! Took it from London to Scotland in Jan with skis in the back - was an amazing cross country weapon🥴. Don’t sell the car Calvin you will regret it 😬😫
It’s an Alfa Romeo at the end of the day, it’s not German, not saying it’s not better than the Germans but it has no road presence, it’s not German, I’m with Calvin, this car isn’t showy, this car is for people who like geezers looking at them, no women are going to say wow compared to an M3

In less than 12 months I've had a 350Z stage 1, 370 Nismo with Armytrix exhaust and rear tail, a Cupra 290, a Jaguar XJ R V8, a Jaguar XE supercharged V6 and now a BMW 235i M Performance spec (which I love BTW). I've had that for two months. Now want a Maserati Grandtourismo S.
I'm on Autotrader every day. It is an addiction I'm afraid.

@@chrisc2184 , I have this car, I was waiting for all the mods he was going to do and besides his channel is getting boring now, most of the content he has been producing lately is the same , BMW, BMW and BMW , was nice seeing the Alfa as the Alfa is something different and not your run of the mill German.

After a few beemers the Alfa is a revelation, works fantastic in the bad weather with winter tyres. I spend most of my time in dynamic mode and find the handling predictable and playful.
This car is different to anything out there and the rarity is an added bonus. Having driven most cars out there I love driving the Alfa and can’t see how someone who has one would not fall for it unless it was always your intention to flip it

The pursuit of something can blind you eventually. Especially during that time earlier in the year when it seemed to be unobtainable. You chased that car for so long. Plus 2020 has been a terrible year for all of us. Usually when you finally get the car you want its fantastic for days out and trips and holidays away. This year due to travel restrictions those opportunities haven't really been there. Its up to you ...but it could be a reason why you haven't bonded with the car.
Tuning it further may not help you bond with it. You've bought the car in an unusual time....my guess is once you sell you may regret it. Okay if the seats are a pain to you. How about a seat change-over?

my brother is exactly the same Calvin!! he changes his car roughly every 3 months as he is in the car trade as well and when something new comes in stock and he likes it, he has it for few months then sells it on.
Can you blame him, I mean really? He has the confidence and ability to sell any car he wants whenever he wants, and the funds to do it.

I detest people who run for a ‘remap’. It’s bang on from alfa with a properly developed calibration, then some chief turns up, forgets all design constraints of the engine, and decides to lift the boost.

Your C pillar trim is hanging off :) I just came from an F31 330d RWD(mapped), awesome car, awesome performance, excellent economy, excellent handling, but it lacked soul and every man and his dog has a 3 series, I got a 2018 Alfa QV, after decades of BMW ownership, loving it...........awesome machine.

Exact reason I didn’t buy one and bought an rs3 saloon instead as it was cheaper, holds its price better, at the time it was new so too many unknowns and depreciation.....but the big reason was it was useless as a daily driver, especially in the uk.

For me venturing into the world of Audi from BM showed me that it wasn't for me at my current price point. Even silly things like seeing the key with Audi rings on it didn't feel right. Sounds stupid but back in a BM now and that feeling has gone.

Mr Calvin, I'm a little disappointed you never gave the Qv a chance. However I do understand you. I have 2020 Giulia Qv not had it long. When I do take it out I have ro worry about tires being warm the weather must be dry and preferably a warm day, the very least it must be dry to get a chance to use its potential. At the moment when I come out in the morning I jump into our second car, a Shogun warrior. I know I know I know what your thinking. The Shogun has the kids and the dog in the back and it's a proper 4 wheel drive we also do a bit of off roading. It hurts me to walk past the QV as often as I do, buuuuuuut on the day when all the elements line up I look for any excuse to use the Qv, it amazes me every time I manage to use it. Hence the 9 point in a very short space of time. The Qv to be a daily all weather car needs 4 wheel drive to manage the power. Another reason why I take the Shogun! Can't wait for the summer.

I bought one in 2018, sold it 8 months later for an eye watering loss of $23,000. But I miss the Quadrifoglio, I had the forza bypass exhaust button. that way is hads the same sound in any mode that you get out of Race mode. But.... it went. Then I got an AMG , hated the brakes, then the CLS550 with red leather is my daily now. I have the Ferrari for a bumpy ride if I need one. Not sure what to get next.... Panamera GTS maybe....

Go for the 335d touring, I have a 335d m performance saloon an it is incredible, I have had MK2 focus RS, Focus ST, and a collection of hot hatches but the 335d is in a different league, a little bit of me wishes I had gone for a touring as probably the next best thing to an M3 touring
335d Touring is a great daily I ran one for 2 years. You won’t get great fuel economy with that right foot of yours though mate. Maybe 35mpg. 😬
In the winter though it’s a weapon stick a 318d badge on it and annoy the boy racers. 😎
