But I've also always thought that she has a lot of percussionist in her, when she's plays tamborine, or the way she attacks her guitar strumming, which explains to me why she prefers rhythm guitar. Also the fact that she has a strong dance background from ballet as a kid, and dance at UC Berkeley. Dancers are heavily influenced by rhythm.
Susanna Hoffs can pull off being a solo act easily. In fact, "Walk Like An Egyptian" could have worked as good if Susanna sang all the parts instead of the two other Bangles. She is that talented.
