I found a bunch of aluminum newspaper printing "plates" from the 1960s in the woods once. After seeing the size of the alligator snapping turtles and bull sharks in every river I`ll never wade in the water in Louisiana again.
Sure 😊😃 is good to see you Brad congrats on the gold ring Kurt and muck do a great job ever week but we miss the rest of you guys. Bobby we miss you and bill please come out and play.
Not just because of Brad (but he is always a huge bonus) but this feels like a vintage Hoover Boys episode. Gold, silver, Spanish, laughs, coin spill. All that was missing was a random Brad candy/coin/bobble on the finds mat at the end. Great job guys 👍
What an awesome hunt!! Great job on the coin spill Kurt! Great to see Brad and Andy out too! Those printing plates are way cóol! Even as great as the finds were, the greatest was seeing you all having a great time together! Thanks for taking us along Kurt! God Bless and stay safe!
Wow what an episode!! A King George spill who wudda thunk.. Those print plates and Egyptian ring are awesome! All great finds..I’ll be right down!! Lol Thanks
Good to see Brad again. I haven't heard "douchebag" in awhile. 😆 seems like a great hunt. 4 coppers in a row....amazing. and that Reale was in awesome shape for being so encrusted. I thought about water hunting in the Saluda river here in SC. It's said somewhere along there was a bunch of gold and silver coins lost from the Civil War I think.
Good to see Brad and Andy. It will be nice when we get to some of the other guys. Mark is out with you most trips. Well done on all the finds. Keeping peeled for 5 weeks for Brad's return and hoping for some others.
Never thought I would comment on your mystery but important lunches in these videos but Brads PB&J idea is the absolute bomb! Especially for those made early in the morning long before lunch time! Can you patent that?
Cool episode. Not as boring as the others. LOL I'd have to say that I like the mesh sifter better than your plastic float one. Getting all those pebbles out seems like a pain in the butt. Good to see B-Rad again. Thanks for sharing your adventure.
Fun fact, the stone lapis lazuli, that was in the Egyptian ring Brad got, Cleopatra used to crush up lapis and use it for her makeup! Great hunt guys! Took a bit to find some good coinage, but got some good rings and history saved!
That was one of the best "im coming to see what you found but I'll just swing my detector round about you on the way ? "Sneaky moves by brad ?hahaha !!and its one of the most stunning rings I've ever seen you guys find . Its just exactly the style i like too ?wowza, nice one b-rad !! Kurt ? You got kinda conned brother, but not in a nasty way,lol . Thanks for the fun guys,as always its appreciated
I think that gold ring Brad found "under your foot" Lol is the coolest looking gold ring I have ever seen found. Way to go Brad. Great hunt Kurt. Really enjoyed it. You never fail to entertain.
It was great to see the other guys out! While it’s great with you and Mark, when there are more people out there it generally means more finds and I do love the banter with Brad I was going to say I loved Brad’s mullet and then he sniped that gold ring! I guess I still love the mullet but man he got lucky there The printing plates were interesting. It seemed to be the same kind of wording on both suggesting they were maybe part of the same plate, interesting that it ended up in the river. I wonder if it got tossed there or if the area was a previous printing facility.
I love digging printing plates. I found a whole one for Coussen's Honey of Tar. It was mixture of honey and tar that was supposed to cure consumption, coughs, cilds, croup, rheumatism, lame back, neuralgia, sprains, and bruises.
Great hunt guys! I just moved out of my old house so finding colonial stuff and early us is hard now lol. A little harder to post content, etc, but still trucking. Really enjoyed it man.
Let the shenanigans begin. You guys are hilarious. Muck a Spanish Silver V-Nickel, so rare. Haha. Brad, great find with the gold ring and Kurt, so cool to find those 4 coppers near each other. Printing plate is really interesting too. Great work fellas.
I am so jealous that you guys get to go on these adventures! The best I have done (without a detector as well) is a couple of Native American items. My former Girl Scout troop went camping at a local campground. (Little backstory: the camp was originally a Native site, later purchased by the Girl Scouts as a GS Campground. Due to repeated flooding, the GS sold it. Texas (state) turned it into a State park. It has a small creek that has a beach-like area. My troop was swimming in the creek and they started playing with the natural clay there. I picked up a handful and squished it...and, to my surprise, an odd rock surfaced. It had two lines etched into it. They were too straight to be natural and the rock was a solid piece (no layering). Afterward, I researched it. It turned out to be a Native American fishing net weight! They would carve the lines into small stones and weave them into a net edge. The nets were used like modern cast nets. The other item I found was a tiny rounded bead. It appears as though it was lost while it was being made. It is obviously hand-worked and has the beginnings of the center hole bored out. The other side has a point, or "stem-like" end. BUT, it is NOTHING like the finds you gentlemen make. I own a cheaper model detector, and don't have many places I can go, locally, with as much historical background. At least, that I know of.
Great hunt guys, good to see part of the gang again. Any news on Bobby Buttons or Buffalo Bill coming back too? You all have a good friendship and banter. Congrats on the rings that gold one was nice and the copper spill too. Happy hunting and eat your lunch
You all worked hard to fill up that board. Good to see Brad and the "other" Andy out there. You're right though, putting a lot of coils on a site helps pin down the hot spots. that last spot is worth another try. Thanks!
Well it's piss pouring down rain here in Tennessee, I'm off work because I've got stinking covid and the Hoover boys just posted another fabulous video, hell life is good!
Nice video again, nice finds. We here in the Netherlands have the rule that if someone finds something beautiful, we do not search with the detector at the finder!! Not really neat! give someone something and respect that's what it's all about!
Is it my imagination or is Brad just Mo~better @ this detecting thing than everybody else!? Haha! Thanx for the share. I really enjoy these river hunt's!
Really enjoyed this video guys. Especially all those cool finds. Congrats to Kurt finding the two old rings, and those 4 KG ll coppers. Way to go Brad finding the gold ring, the two tokens and the lead toy. And Muck finding the v nickel and the Spanish real.

Cranx!
Brad comes out to the water once and rips gold right beside you!? I could understand the frustration 🤣😂🤣.
Good to see Brad and Andy. It will be nice when we get to some of the other guys. Mark is out with you most trips. Well done on all the finds. Keeping peeled for 5 weeks for Brad's return and hoping for some others.
