Seems quieter than earlier in the month. The world is changing and Pattaya with it. Glad I enjoyed, and still have memories of a holiday there in 2005. Getting 70 - 80 baht to the pound, bar fines 200 baht, 1000 baht long time and the girls were attentive and fun to be with. I'm an old fart now, but memories are forever. Hopefully, somewhere else in the world will become the new Pattaya for the upcoming guys.
They were the good old days you can still find those prices I was there in October in Jomtien plus the older girls take care of you better if you know what I mean🙏🏼

Daz; In a previous video, you also asked where the 9's and 10's might be. Your answer then: Bangkok. And, that's true. The girls know their value. The really pretty girls want to be actresses and professional models. Those industries are concentrated in Bangkok. So, that's where they are. And, just as the girls do in western cities, the underemployed models and actresses work part time as escorts. In most cases, they work through agencies, whether in Thailand or the west. I assume that the girls in "Pin-up" are working through an agency. Similarly, the upscale girls working in the vicinity around the yacht club and the golf courses are probably working through an agency. In all cases, they cost more which brings me to an important point: The 9's and 10's are looking for relative male 9's and 10's, both in terms of physical appearance and in terms of wealth. So, if you are old, out of shape, are not sharply dressed and you don't have the money to spend, you will most certainly not be in the game.
I just returned from two weeks in Thailand with my wife--then met my friend and took a week with him to have fun with him as wife had returned to the Philippines. My general assessment is that there was no shortage of attractive women being available there--key word being 'attractive'. One man's 10 is another man's 7, relatively speaking. Being a 10 doesn't mean fun during your liaison, while I'm presuming that a 6 or a 7 could really tip the scales on the fun factor. Not that I have any idea...but a starfish 10 or an enthusiastic 7...which would you prefer? All that being said, we both hit the Gogo bars and the beer bars and drank and carried on mightily, having good fun in general; Nana Plaza, Thermae, Soi Cowboy...

You seem to be the only you-tuber who has got a handle on what is going on. Most of the other you-tubers are just pushing their own business or the businesses of their friends.
Some people in the comments are talking about the Good Old Days. I was here in 1976, shortly after the US Military pulled out of Vietnam. The GI's on Leave were gone, but many of the girls stayed. The bars were crawling with lonely 9's and 10's who didn't want to go back home to their village. They were just looking for a bed to sleep in so they didn't have to spend the night in the bars. There were a few of us back packers in our early 20's having the time of our lives. The Atlanta Hotel was Ground Zero for the best girls.
In 2019 I did the same thing you did. I walked into Pin Ups and estimated that they had 3 rotations of 40 girls on stage for a total of 120. I was there looking for a friend of a friend and I found her. Bought her a few drinks and she told me at that time they had 180 girls. Your description sounds like they pack them in a little tighter than what I saw. That girl I met is now my caddy at one of the golf courses. During all the shutdowns since 2019 she returned to her old caddy job. She says she wants to go back to walking street, but as they often do, she had a baby in the interim which complicates her life. It's not mine. But now for a fraction of the cost of a few lady drinks I hang with her for 4 or 5 hours on the golf course. Very playful.
Great analysis. Looks is very subjective. As I've got older I can still see the youthful beauty in the younger woman, but I don't find them as appealing as a well kept woman in her mid 30's. I also don't get turned on hardly at all by working girls anymore, where as a woman with a normal job is much more of a turn on for me when they are talking or being a bit flirtatious with me. The thought of having to pay 3000 baht or more for a short time with one of those girls is a turn off in itself, even though I can afford it.
Never pay anymore than a thousand for st.

I think that situation won’t last long. Prices and wages going up after Covid, but from your story I drew a picture, that customers don’t really get what they’re hoping for. So everything looks good now, as there is a lot of customers, but they won’t return. It’s just like in a restaurant, when you hike the price up, happy of making more money, but the food isn’t as good as it was before, customers don’t return, and the profit starts to going down, and when customers start to leaving, it’s very difficult to get them back.

Customers *shall* come. Just not (as many) westerners any more. The west is in a well deserved decline, the new customers will be from wealthier asian countries instead.

Patts was pretty poor when I was there in 2019. Covid has finished it off, but I will not forget just how many empty units on Soi 6 etc I saw in September'19 - Before Covid was even heard of.

Happy New Year Daz!! Great info as usual! On my last trip in July/August 2022, I noticed the same with regards to the quality of the ladies. However, in my experience, the 9s/10s are more expense than they're worth now. I BF'd an absolute stunner from Kink one night after buying her and one of her girlfriends a fair number of LDs. She wanted to go to another gogo to keep drinking with another friend, then a snack after the gogos closed and then became a starfish back on the hotel. I realize the experiences with these girls is random but this wasn't the first time this had happened with 'model' types and in my experience, happens more often with 9s/10s. If I'm going to spend time with a 9/10 (especially at a gogo), I go in with the attitude that I'm just there to have some fun in the bar and have no intention of BFing a gogo girl. I'm at the point where I would rather have an enthusiastic 7 from a beer bar/gents club than a starfish 10!

Thailand women especially in BANGKOK and PHUKET are better than in Vietnam. You can't compare PATTAYA, PHUKET and BANGKOK woth SAIGON or HANOII. Thailand is the best and really there's nothing in Vietnam, because i know, because i travell all over the world

Happy New Year, Daz. Very informative. Was in Pin Up bar with some visitors. We were made to feel as welcome as the proverbial fart in a space suit. Complete focus was on Koreans…young and old…Soi 6 much more fun…
hahaha I remember when I it was like shooting fish in a barrel, getting 8-10s on Soi 6 for 300 bar fine and room. Plus 700 for the lady. A short time was until you got bored. Often 2 or 3 hours if it was quieter in low season. That was back in 2000-2003. Now its 1400 bf with no ST room and 5 lady drinks at what ? 160 or 180 baht each ? Thats nearly $100 AUD before you have to pay the bird and get a room. What a joke. I would hate to be a punter in this day and age.

im heading towards 60y/o now so there all good to me i was there in 2019 and mostly took home about 6 or 7s they seamed much more happy to please me then 9 or 10 the aussie dollar isnt much better than 2019 i was getting 22.50 over there then. il be back in febuary for a month .cant wait.

You cracked the code. As a recent first timer, I knew something was up and you've confirmed my suspicions. I had the same experience, Pin-Up was jam packed shoulder to shoulder with 8's or better, but nowhere else. The only places that came remotely close at a fraction were Palace, Skyfall, Playgirlz, Queen's Club, and maybe Baccara. Pin-Up is also the most aggressive about the drinks. And I noticed the preference for NE asian guys more so on Walking Street. LK was more friendly toward westerners. Even in Bangkok, they were all jammed into Billboard and Butterflies and nowhere else.
For quality of life, I'd like to return, but I didn't like the scene much... and that's despite having had an incredible time. Pattaya is a solid hub for exploring the rest of the region moving forward.

I have to say that after a week of carousing in Bangkok, it gets pretty old (for me, at least) pretty fast. I enjoyed myself, but it was nice to return to the Philippines and have my regular weekly massage...and not have the masseuses constantly asking me if I wanted her to go to my hotel for extra services!
Chinese and Japanese customers throw cash at them to make themselves look rich. If you were a working girl wouldn't you go for that customer?

In Phuket they have all been scooped up by Suzie Wong group and the various gogos they run. Ive inquired twice so far, one girl said bar fine is 2000 + 6000 short time, the other girl said 2000 + 8000 short time but she needs 20+ drinks first. For reference I am young, in shape and well groomed. FWIW I also think only fans and instagram have taken a lot of our 10s out the pool.

First time in Pattaya for Dec 2022 vacation, average is 500 bar fine, and 1200-1500 short time (compared to @thinkof100 mention).
(you can actually negotiate this further, if you locate the freelancers, and can get between 1000-1200 if not at the bar scene)
Visited Pin Up, great spot. Two notes: 1) need to go to the washroom, which is large - it is loaded with girls, quite a surprise, and 2) the boss is super cool, great personality, and was even dancing up on me. All in all, a great experience that I would recommend to all.
Already back home, and planning to visit again for 2023, if not long term to move there.
And I thought I became more and more picky during the time I lived in Pattaya (2008-2016). Year after year there where less 9's and 10's. Good to know that I wasn't the only one who had this feeling.
