There are a lot of us who think the same way until we stumble upon a country artist who changes our view, the way Chris Stapleton did with you. I've always liked country from a young age. The first time I ever heard Chris Stapleton, it was seeing him perform live at the O2 in London. It was just him, his band and his wife onstage, absolutely phenomenal. I was so incredibly lucky.

I am a country music fan, but not today's country, mostly traditional older country and some new acts. Chris happens to be one of those "new" acts that I listen to regularly. I wouldn't categorize him as "country". He is almost a genre all his own. There is a ton of blues, R&B, soul, rock, and some country in his performances. You should check out "I Was Wrong" if you want to hear some more really good music with a ton of soul in it. You should put your twitter handle out there my friend. Would love to follow and see when you have other stuff. I am not on TH-cam regularly otherwise.

Someone in the audience video taped his performance with the group Shadow Boxers. They asked him to come up on stage and this impromptu performance was AMAZING.
