You watch a video like this and realize that oblivion has some of the most exaggerated deaths. Like sometimes you punch someone and they just jump in the air as they die. Honestly oblivion has aged well for all the wrong reasons. but we still love it.

Dude I love it when your strength is high enough that the physics spaz out and the character you punch flies across the room like they were just hit by a train, while the punch animation from your character looks like a casual punch.

But it is helluva fun to keep people down for the count by draining their fatigue.
@@GerMorden I never found the hard difficulty fun because it just seemed impossible, but those fatigue spells sure made for some fun moments!
@@ThatsCoolDude very hard ain't fun at all. I legit tried, and unless you rush conjuration (because summoned creatures are overpowered too) - it's impossible to beat even a first troll.
Hard - eh, unless AI cheats (like on Arena, where every contender runs like they're under 10 bottles of skooma), you can provide some quality 300 septims fisting to plenty of opponents, unless they are too big or armed with two-handed weapons.
Hell, beating anyone with your fists in Oblivion is so much fun to Skyrim.
The end of this video makes me think this whole thing was what was going through the Blue Team Gladiator's mind as he was hitting the punching bag.

My favorite is Ah-Malz because the way he runs after you, randomly slashing his sword, he sounds like a sociopath talking about himself in the third person.
Ah-Malz scared me a little, but then again... nothing a punch couldn't solve...
I like that you took a little break in between punching people to also punch a couple flower vases and some tomatoes in a bowl. F*ck those tomatoes and flowers. They know who is boss now.

This is me on my timeskip playthrough (I got the original idea from the UESP tumblr). I rack up so much bounty assaulting and eventually murdering people (and steal stuff, but that takes a bit too long for my tastes). I get to hundreds and thousands of septims in bounty that after I have served my sentence and have been released, it's 3E 470 or even later.
It's very fun.
Also bandits become friendly and you can do literally anything, since the guards are dead... Only negative is that your skills decrease after jail...
I love how they all fly a few cm 😂

The physics in this game for using blunt weapons are so strangely satisfying, it holds up pretty well. It at least feels more reactive than Skyrim.
They had a killcam or a weird generic death animation in Skyrim... missed opportunity for some fun moments if you ask me...
@@ThatsCoolDude the killcam is progress, it isn’t perfect but I like it as a modern mechanic. The death animations are lame though.
