It wouldn't boot up, it just stayed on the black screen. I removed the memory modules one at a time and it was the second one. It's booting up now; I'm looking at the Windows logo. 💃

First, thank you for your video. I watched it twice, tried all of your tricks in the video and I’m still unable to get my Samsung ATIV 9 (NP940X3G) to boot up. I believe my battery is well charged and the power chord seems to connect based on the green and blue lights above the keyboard. When I try to power on the blue light illuminates but the screen doesn’t come on and the fans don’t start. I’ve taken very good care of the computer over the years and it has not been subject to any rough treatment or spills. I would be very grateful for your further help in troubleshooting the cause of the machine not powering up. Thank you!
If, after all these steps, you have not been able to find the issue, your most likely looking at a faulty component preventing the motherboard from working or a motherboard issue. I would start troubleshooting each component, starting with the charger and power jack. You can see those two videos here; th-cam.com/video/YBhsVHideGE/w-d-xo.html & th-cam.com/video/HpabvrNaodU/w-d-xo.html. You can also try replacing other components like your Power Button to see if that is the route cause. If none of those are the issue, you would then be left with a motherboard replacement.

Just so you know, liquid spill situations can be hard to troubleshoot just one issue as multiple different components and boards including the motherboard itself, could all be faulty. After a liquid spill, you want to first make sure the computer is 100% dry. You would turn your computer off immediately by pressing and holding the power button until the computer turns off. Then you would disassemble the computer as much as your comfortable with, at least trying to remove the bottom case. Then you would turn it on its side and let dry for a couple days. Have you done this yet or are you sure the computer is dry?

@@urnotalonee If, after all these steps, you have not been able to find the issue, your most likely looking at a faulty component preventing the motherboard from working or a motherboard issue.

I have samsung notebook 750 And for some reason it won't come on. There's an orange light near the charging port that stays on regardless that the charging cable is plugged in or not. And won't power on. I have tried the tips from your video and needless to say, no change
1. You may need to try the power drain procedure repeatedly with some computers.
2. Also, did anything happen before this issue appeared? Liquid spill, overheating, Windows update, etc?
@@PC_Monkey no, there was no spill, overheating etc. Came to use it and it simply won't turn on. Only signs of life is an orange led shown at the sside

I have an internal battery Samsung NP730. It got wet. No lights, will not charge.
I am taking it in for service. The water spill happened last week. Thank you for your response! @@PC_Monkey
My Samsung Rv511 isn't turning on since Tomorrow Thx to my sister she Ruined my charger then it wasn't charging it isn't turning on it has 2 gb of ram (4gb before) amd The battery has already been replaced abt an year ago and the charging issue was fixed now I have a Charging issue It doesn't boot up it has 2 metal arms and springs and 2 slots

2. If the charger is damaged, have you replaced the charger?
@@PC_Monkey No i had it replaced around 1 yr ago it is the official charger that we get with the laptop in the box and the battery is a 4000 mah Lapgrade Battery
@@PC_Monkey i tried replacing my singular 2 gb ram stick on different slots but it still didn't take a charge or boot up
I checked the charger it's light was. Working and I was sure that the charging head was working so i guess it's a charging port issue
Replace the CMOS battery if you have come this far. It may be dead! They don't last forever.
My Acer aspire laptop still stuck in black screen,I did all those steps
What's wrong
1. Is the computer stuck on a black screen or is it not turning on? If the screen is black, what are the signs that the computer is actually turning on?

Can you do a DELL not restart no power fix video
1. Brand does not really matter when troubleshooting a computer not turning on. Are there any signs of life at all when you try to turn it on? Lights? Fan, Motherboard, or Hard Drive sounds? Anything seen on the screen?

How does your channel have over 300,000 subs and only gets around 300 views per video?
Unfortunately this is not an entertainment channel so I would assume that most of my subs dont keep my notifications on and jump at the chance to watch each new video that comes out lol. I assume most of them subscribe so they have my channel and me handy if another issue ever comes up, they can send me a question or search my videos :)

Thank you!
