Usually have to drive quite away to ride spent last season on a 250 moved up to a ktm 450 this year as I quite racing at 14 and got into crotch rockets when I was 16 now I’m back on the dirt at 24 and it’s so fun not having to worry about dieing everytime you ride maybe broken bones but letting a 450 eat there’s nothing like it not even a r1 compares to being on the dirt letting the 450s rip man
As long as you’re having fun that’s all that matters when you’re on a bike. Everyone has their own style just takes time bud, keep shredding them dirt scooters!

Best thing i have found with rutted out faces on jumps is to just look past it and use you correct positioning and technique will sort out any issues with the bike beneath you. And repetition for confidence. Still looked like a fun outing mate, love this kind of footage.

I know this sounds counter intuitive, but the faster you go in sand, the easier it is to ride. When it comes to rutty faces, just stand up, lean back, and give it gas. Cause the more hesitant you are, the more you're prone to making a mistake. #TipsWithSorru
This is a little late but hitting jumps with ruts you need to pick a rut and then look ahead. Don’t look at the rut while you’re going through it. Look, pick a rut, then look ahead on what’s next. It’s incredible how much easier it makes hitting jumps that are rutted out
Track looked pretty gnarly in those conditions. Definitely technical. Id recommend mount the cam under your visor, it's like first person. If you want an example check out one of my recent videos
As someone else who doesn't get to ride as often as I would like. I pay close attention to the technique of the fast guys and try to copy them at my own pace. It helps me be alot smoother and gives the confidence to speed it up a bit. Positioning is #1, if you are gripping with your knees and still getting your hands destroyed, try moving the bars foward. That helped me alot.
Lynds, for your forearms and wrists, grab a dumbbell or barbell and do forearm workouts to work all the muscles in your forearms, they will help on the bike a lot
You did fine. I think the best thing that could help you is building confidence on the track which is something you do after many rides so just keep shredding!

That early season arm pump is the worse! You are all excited to start the riding season again and your heart is in it but your arms are just having none of it. At my local track I get a solid 1 lap in then need a 15 minute break and then repeat for a total of like 10 laps if I’m lucky ha
I live locally myself and Contemplated doing this. Glad I didn't as I saw so many people say it was hard work. Well done for getting round. I would've been in the experts myself but trust me, I can't follow a rut to save my life. I freaking hate them too.

At first I didn’t even like going out and riding with big groups at open track days because I was afraid of people judging my ability. Nice thing about the dirt biking community is there isn’t hardly anyone who will judge you. The Moto community is one of the nicest ones to be part of. I learned a lot from the people who I thought would criticize me for my ability.
For some reason I don’t/never maverick have played MXbikes or any game similar in my life but find your videos entertaining. I’ve also never rode a bike in my life so I don’t really know why ur content attracts me but I’m glad it does so good job mate keep it up 👍🏽
There’s specific GoPro mounts you can use to catch the feel of how fast your going. The chest cam makes it look sluggish for some reason . Try a chin cam for the extra camera stability your head provides when riding.
@@LyndsMX try mounting it on the side of your helmet and use the adaptors to extent it out and back up into portrait mode, I found that to be the best mid ground because it’s at eye level.
recommendation from some dude that rides on track and enduro. If you just put your fear behind you even tho youre scared shitless and you just pin it you will find out how mindblowing it is what you can do on the bike. Enduro helps a lot with that when you get to a big ass hill and youre scared like a little pussy but you have to do it same with going down a huge hill(it also teaches you how to fall). so yeah put the fear behind you and dont be scared to fall.
You should put the gopro mount the right way up instead of upside down and push the gopro into the chin of your helmet also raising your clutch to level or just above helps with arm pump. Just a suggestion
Camera angles are always the hardest part of irl riding. You try to check it before but it hardly ever turns out how you thought. You’ll get the feel of it the more you try it!

Ex pro here but I know you don’t get to ride much but tip for ruts, a lot of people concentrate to much on the ruts and look at them to much. Pick your line and look past the rut, make sure your squeezing the bike and trust your ability. It’s kind of like when your cornering wherever you look your bikes going to go.
I can tell by your riding style that your gonna get a lot faster however, I’d try standing up more and being less stiff on the bike. Normally being stiff on the bike is what causes arm pump. But I think you rode just fine, especially for your first time in 6 months 🤙

On the dango mount you can push the GoPro in and compress the spring then turn it upside down and adjust the angle to look higher
