I think they're better than LP. So much more depth to this band. And Mick the rapper kinda ruined some songs. it's like they forced that in where it just wasn't needed, especially after hybrid theory. It felt like he was annoyingly interrupting In some songs with it. It grated on me, I just wanna shout, stfu, you're ruining it. Lol. But hybrid album was their masterpiece, whereas BMTH have released masterpiece after masterpiece and keep getting better. And the way he's perfected his vocals, considering in the begining he was tone defending.😂😂 That's an achievement and dedication. They're so good live now.
It’s probably already been said but that part on N/A where the crowd sings back HELLO OLI YOU FUCKING KNOBHEAD ! Was recorded live at their U.K. shows earlier this year, Oli got the words up and got all the stadiums to sing it with him, and I guess I managed to be part of it in someway 😂
Me too. And they ended up only using 3 shows. Sheffield, Cardiff and another 1 that I can't remember. But I was at Sheffield. My 10 year olds face was priceless when I told her that, she said, "wow,I thought I could hear your voice mummy".😂😂 I wish.
The transition between YOUtopia and Kool-Aid is one that always sends chills down my body... Kool-Aid just gets my adrenaline going, the breakdown..... I don't think I have the right words to describe how that makes me feel in terms of adrenaline 😅🤘 songs like n/a and LosT are so relatable to me due to my mental conditions and all. Those songs alone with Darkside and dig it really stood out to me and really spoke to me
A lot of the parts you talked about in AmEN! was Daryl and not Oli lol, which gets even funnier when Andy said that you know it's Oli once you hear him and that it's unmistakable 😂
I wish you'd analyzed every song in the album. The last one, Dig It is my personal fav, a song with a lot of nuances and a very unique progression. I guess you've listened the whole record and picked the songs you enjoyed the most, but still would've loved to know your opinion on Dig It
Love these analyses videos with the two of you. Can’t wait for the course. I’m pretty new to this genre and to this group. This album looks like the perfect place to dive in.
haha nice! :) ya, we did lots of videos together in the same room, but didn't fit this one in before he had to board the plane... so we thought we'd kinda make a joke of it haha.
@@chrisliepewow. What! You did a great job in editing, because you can't tell. That's cool.. l had to have a closer look. And you have to really look, but I can see it now. Still a great job. If it wasn't mentioned,I'd not have noticed.
@@chrisliepe This reply made me imagine Andy calling in from the plane and screaming everyone's heads off while recording this, and it's a great mental image
I totally just sat here nodding, espythe last part. Almost everything oli has gone through,i have too. And i feel his lyrics as though hes singing them for me. I struggled with councilling so much, i eas the class clown because I dound it easily to make kokes about my situation than being freely open about them. But Oli is now my therapist in a way. Perfectly said.❤

yeah there is references, i feel like every song is a distinct reference, even a tribute, we got the linken park, we got the deftones, we got the underoath
I think that's what great song writers do, great vocalist's. They say things on your behalf in a way that you feel like you're saying them too." What a great set of words Chris. Thank you for that.
So, I’d just like to throw some attention at the artist involved in a lot of composition of the songs, “Daisuke Ehara” of Paledusk. I highly recommend checking out Paledusk or one of the bands he has formerly worked in “Lucrecia” they’re some friends of mine.
We will see how the interest is for this video and plan from there. They won’t be raw reactions because we’ve already listened to the whole album a bunch, but if enough people watch this video and express interest, I’d love to analyze the other songs!!
I think BMTH’s new album is a good example that autotune doesn’t ruin emotion/delivery *all the time* like how a lot of people claim. There’s a very audible amount of autotune on most, if not all the songs. I know some people won’t like that and find it distracting in some songs like Strangers, but I don’t at all feel like it’s “ruining” any of the delivery. I’m not sure I would argue it’s adding anything extra necessarily, but it isn’t ruining the soul of his parts.
I've done a reaction to it... just need to post it! SO many amazing songs dropped in the last week and a half, I've got lots of videos to put up about them... and she's definitely one of them!!

@@boxkid759 I mean that's how it felt to me. I got really into the opening tracks and then the single came in and I was like.. oh yeah I remember this. This album is the perfect dose of nostalgia while keeping things fresh and innovative.
