Definitely not the way mine are coming off. Feels like it's going to break before it comes off. Story of my life.
Try different spokes. It was very easy for one wheel but one really hard compared to the other two, in my case.
They need to have separate left caps vs right caps. They're all the same direction which means one side is not aerodynamic.
The guy installed the first cap that was meant for left side unless they're all 1 direction
This is what i thought too, but if you look at the hubcaps that came with the 19inch , its not bi direction so it doesnt really change the efficiency.

is EVBASES version also with Left-Right Symmetry? Is the airflow supposed to come out of the tire or go into the tire for efficiency?
if the covers are directional you installed it on the wrong side

That’s with any caps. Good thing is that they aren’t as expensive as alloy wheels

You put left cap on the right
Have you tried using double sided thin foam tape around the edge of cap for extra secure.

Another TH-camr tested the efficiency and aerodynamics of the stock Tesla wheel covers and found that there’s exactly zero difference in range whether the covers were on or off. I believe it’s just a marketing strategy. Regardless, love my M3 and Tesla in general. Will never go back to gas.
The pictures on Amazon don't look like the same wheel cover that is in your video. Are you sure they are the same?

This is only way you can put it. These are not supposed to be in specific order
@@MyGadgetsWorld Chris is right..these have to be two for each side specifically and if you got four of the same then they are not aerodynamically efficient. I’m getting a set today and I made sure they are 2 for each side. Looks great though 👍
@@MyGadgetsWorld they are even called turbines. And turbines on a planes if you think about it logically are turned and curved inside in a specific way. And as u probably know air dynamics work the same way on cars especially electric cars. So yes my man. They should be turned towards the wheel rotation cutting the air. This will probably also reduce noise inside the cabin. But u know do whatever u want 😌

Those hub caps are ugly so are the wheels tesla needs to discontinue them entirely just improve the range make nicer wheels charge more for base models! I would never buy those model y's🤢🤮🤧🥵🥴🥴🥴

It's not only the initial cost for the induction wheels/tires. You have to factor in the replacement cost of the 20" tires. They can be $200-$400 more for a set of 4. Also, the ride comfort and mileage are better on 19". FWIW, I don't like the look of the silver rim showing through the wheel cover. @@milli_on4451
