In this video we'll run though the Menus of the RED Raven. This is part 2 of our 3 part series on the camera. In part 1 we covered the exterior configuration, ports, and build. In part 3 we will rig this camera up for a few different shooting scenarios like Gimbal, Handheld, and Studio setups.

All depends on what you are trying to do if you shoot some R3D files you can change all of that after the fact and play around with the footage to see what works best for you.

LensProToGo The menu setup is mostly the same from the Raven but Results you get from the diff resolution 8k, 8k 2:1, 8k ws etc. why shoot in 8k at high compression over 7k 6k or 4k @ a lower compression rate.
Time n Speed Difference in faster red colored mini mag, Difference in apple pro res vs avid.
Redvolt xl vs vmount.
I got most of my answers from forms & playing with my epic-w but for those thinking about getting it there are no videos online about things like this. I'm a first time red user so I was a little lost coming from a gh4 and had to search for answers.

Only set up the camera took 10% of battery..omg... Great camera tho, I wish I had one.... and plenty of batteries.

try holding down the power button on restart for ten seconds to restore factory defaults.

@@lensprotogo Pushing the record button actually brought me back into video mode I figured out. But that's really good to know that holding down the power button for ten seconds restarts the camera to default settings! Thanks!
