I really loved this video … I loved how it wasn’t an unboxing but using pieces in your wardrobe and you showing us how to put it all together with your accessories.. so informative and a joy to watch …. 👏👏
Just wanted to spotlight how much I enjoy the occasional short transitions throughout your videos that feature nature with beautiful background music. So peaceful and artistic.
I can’t believe I’m gonna say this but your country living content has become my favorite, fashion is now second also I’m here for your change of style. I just had a LMG marathon after months of not watching. Now I need to move to a farm hahaha
In Australia we’ve just entered spring, and it feels so exciting for the evenings to be getting longer, and the skies being brighter. The bees are everywhere and it’s feeling more and more like summer dress season ☀️
Hi Lydia, I have enjoyed experiencing your happiness in this video so much. I am now in my fifties (not at all over the hill!) and due to many shifts in lifestyle and inability to wear a high heel any longer 🙁my own clothing choices have been or at least 'felt' limited. However, watching your enthusiasm for your clothes (and lifestyle) fills me with enormous amounts of joy and hope, that I too can now push forward with my own wardrobe choices once again. Excellent video, thank you X
I've never regretted purchasing a quality piece that I always feel good wearing over and over. I don't have your budget, but I can aspire. Enjoying the cozy vibes. xo
Your entire yard just looks stunning and all filled in during the end of the video. Isn't it amazing to see all of your hard work and vision come to life? I loved the view on the side yard facing your brick wall...it's just gorgeous.
The hand-painted candles are so beautiful and a very thoughtful gift. They are hidden in the flower pots. They would look lovely displayed in a pair of your candle holders. I know how much you value home-made gifts from friends.
Well done Lydia! If this is the new kind of vlog style you were talking about in your other video, I absolutely love it!!❤️ I love that you shared your thought process with us when it comes to re-wearing items. I learn so much from you 🥰🥰
We have 11 Le Crueset pots, casserole dishes and pans, and honestly, it was a huge investment at the time, but with 5 kids in the house, they served us so well Still do, 12 years after purchasing. You won't make a mistake. Love that the chickens are allowing cuddles. Too sweet. We are looking to get chickens in the next few months. So enjoy your content on them xo
As an Italian I can affirm you can indeed slice a mozzarella, especially for a Caprese Salad (mozzarella, tomato and basil drizzled with olive oil). It's a Burata (a creamier type of mozzarella) that you don't really slice but maybe halve.Try slicing the tomatoes and alternate with the mozzarella slices overlapping each other before dotting with basil leaves and drizzling with olive oil, the presentation is lovely and you can easily scoop up a slice and tomato and cheese easily.
Very comment-y today! This has been one of my favorite videos so far… You just feel like autumn to me, and I’m just so glad that you are such an aesthetic! I loved your tables, and just all of it!❤🎉
Lydia! I think vintage copper cookware should be your next obsession! It would fit so nicely with your garden and chickens and English country lifestyle. I await the vlog on finding and restoring high quality vintage copper cookware 😊
Hi Lydia 🌿 Its called ADHD paralysis, and are very normal and very okay ❤️ It really helps to make list and write down all you want to do, maybe in groups of “want to do” and “needs to do”. So then everything feels like small achievements when you check one of, and not so overwhelming. Mixing “must do’s” with “wants to do’s” also helps get up and out and feeling motivated. Best wishes Ps. You are amazing 🌿
Lydia, I so love your approach to the upcoming season....pulling out the pieces you have and seeing the gaps in your wardrobe. It is how I have always looked at the upcoming seasons. It is so fun to bring out the pieces you have. I love the pieces that I have purchased, high and low. I plan on sticking with my lovely style going forward. You are such a kindred spirit ❤ Thankyou for this new approach. I love it!
I was so relieved to hear you say I have this day and you get so overwhelmed you do nothing. I don't do nothing as I have a lovely routine but the days I pack things in I feel exhausted so I think it is about pacing yourself and not beating yourself up about "doing things". Some chores have to be done and we only have a certain amount of energy.
Totally agree with you regarding having your core bags. I recently sold or gave away to my daughter n law bags that I have not used and just kept the ones that work for me and my wardrobe.
Such a beautiful & relaxing vlog!! I watch these vlogs and I find a sense of calmness & humor throughout. Fun to see you get your fall wardrobe out. Can’t wait to see this new collection! So happy to see how many eggs you retrieved!! So enjoy your vlogs Lydia! Thank you!! 😊❤️
Lydia, I'm so looking forward to listening to your book. Honestly I love your chatty get to know me, with your take on the world. You have so much wisdom and such a good attitude to things. Only ever listen to the positive comments about you because you are a lovely person. And you wear the most beautiful clothes too! Good luck with your book! 🥰 x
Highly recommend the le creuset skillet. Recently added one in artichaut, and while it took some time acclimating to cast iron, my goodness is it a game changer!
Le Creuset pans are lovely - my new favourite though is De Buyer. I find they don’t mark and are just as hard wearing. Really enjoyed this video Lydia - it had me very excited for autumn! 🍂 thank you 😊
God i wish i had the freedom to do whatever i feel! Pull yourself together ladies and do the things you want now! because once you have a child you have no life. Life is short and you take for granted your freedom. I cant stress this enough
I just thrive in the fall 😁❤. I love everything about fall but I also love the spring too 😊. I always say spring and fall all year round would be perfect weather for me
I would highly recommend Denby pottery as it’s so well made and long lasting. Had my set for about 20 years. Also scanpqn make great pans. I find le cruset have pale interiors which become stained and look unclean.
What a lovely vlog Lydia! Loved your choice of music. Love your style. You are such an inspiration for me. In fact, I’m going to make tomatoes and mozzarella salad for dinner tonight thanks to you!
Hi Lydia....Went to Thyme last week because of your recommendations.....I'm from the US and love your style and vlogs....Thank you for an exceptional place to go!!! Best to you! Marla
Le Creuset pans are definitely an investment, but part of the reason the pans are so pricey is because they come with a 30-year warranty. So save your receipts in case the enamel ever chips so you can get it repaired for free!
What you were saying Lydia about having a day to yourself then just procrastinating. When you’re a busy person there’s so much you want to do when you get a me day. I personally find it hard to choose. All my life I’ve been a list writer. So make a list and choose one or two things. The other thing I wanted to say is nothing to do with this vlog but the one when you say you’ve got ametophobia. I suffer with that too. I am now 61 and I thought I was odd. I’ve pre ordered your book. I can’t tell you how much watching you has helped me. Thank-you. Karon x
You'd be surprised at how versatile a red and burgundy handbag can be, especially in the autumn and winter for the burgundy. Besides black, blue and tan colours, I found grey to be a must-have basic handbag colour for me., at least in the cooler weather months,. Ivory, off-white shades of handbags tend to be more suited for the warmer months in my opinion. While my summer season wardrobe has more florals and colour, my autumn/winter wardrobe has more a more paired down palette of neutrals like grey, black, grey, blue and cool beiges. Grey in particular is a perfect foil for a pop of colour, especially the jewel toned ones. Think, burgundy, burnt oranges and even some browns, greens and blues. Hence, beside black, tan and blue, I would consider a grey and burgundy/deep red handbag as part of a basic collection,
I recommend Zwilling saucepans for sure. We have had one set for 14 years (they look like new) and I got another set three years ago, as we regularly cook for 20+ people. Honestly the best brand ever. I have Le Creuset casseroles too, but tend to only use them for stove to oven. There is one other brand of pans I think are great - Cristel. They are stackable, and great quality. I have one frying pan and its fab as the handle detaches for stove to oven, but no need for anymore when we have our Zwilling ones.
Hi Lydia, I really enjoyed you showing us your clothes in your wardrobe. I've often wondered what the inside of your wardrobes contain 🤣.. so many beautiful pieces, and it's such a pleasure to watch you pick out your autumn attire with us x I just did the same with my wardrobe.. love pulling out all the rustic earth tones and planning for the colder months ahead. I was tempted to scent my home with cinnamon and spices. ...but its too early 😅 I'm looking out for a nice autumn candle scent or reed diffuser... any suggestions ?
Such a feel good video, love autumn and I love following you through the seasons, can’t wait to get your book through my letter box 🍂✨ have a great weekend!
One of my favourite vlogs to date (having binge watched loads since I found your channel relatively recently!). Dinner for your friends looked delicious. Loved your cosy crackling fire, we have just moved to a house with a log burner and have yet to have a fire, but...... can I ask, as a fellow sufferer of a phobia of spiders, how on earth do you cope with having a basket of logs in your sitting room - what's the trick please x
Hello, in Switzerland I am collecting chestnuts 🌰 and put them around the house in nice containers and of course around the fire logs 🪵. Oil of chestnut 🌰 is also efficient. Hope it will help you. 😊
I had to stop halfway through; I love this vlog; you are glowing! Fall is also my favorite season; getting cozy and having the wood stove going is lovely. I also got my seasonal stuff out of storage today, although I constantly change over to my winter duvet too soon and get caught in Indian Summer! Love your curated handbag selection and your styling! I must have missed it, but I would love to see the new puppies!! Which vlog were they in? I cannot wait for your following collection of KM.
I cut mozzarella, nothings wrong with it, to make Italian style salad, by laying those rounded slices of it individually, cut tomatoes in slices too and layer in the top of mozzarella slices, pour some olive oil over it all and sprinkle oregano or mixed herbs over each of them. It's divine!
Good to see you getting out dresses and not leggings and jeans yet as I have cropped leggings with long tops for Autumn and dresses with sweatshirts and I do love my ugg boots and make no apologies for their warmth and comfort. Sage and tan are my go to's. I am thrilled that you have less designer bags!! Good for you.
That is my fave meal at the mo - basil, mozarella and freshly baked crusty bread and olive oil, toms and balsamic - what can be better on an autumnal eve? So glad you now like tomatoes. Vine the best. Your home looks lovely - sage windows, rusty metal firepit, daisies, beautiful greenhouse, chicken coop and glorious wood at the back and high old red brick wall and outdoor kitchen and wonderful large area to eat outside. Surely you will not move.
I’m really enjoying that you are paring back your accessories but at the same time looking for classics . I do not have your budget but I realised last year that my bag is a crossbody by Katie Loxton so I have invested in 4 in classic colours and my shoes compliment them and they in turn will look great with my outfits .
Omg so happy you did a autumn haul type prep. I really want some deep red/burgundy/cognac knee high boots this year. I want trailing through you outfits on your blog and videos on here to look for you dark/red brown proven boots and couldn’t find then anywhere and now here they are …. Thanks! xx
Look at pans from Netherton foundry in Shropshire. It’s a small business and it’s all made in the uk. It’s spun iron which is lighter than cast iron. They are works of art. I just bought the 12’ sauté pan with lid. Please look them up. It’s proper craftsmanship. Xxx
We're due for a heat wave next week! It has been a really weird summer - June maxed out the drought index in Denmark, we literally didn't have any rain at all for the whole month, then July gave us double the average rainfall and August was both sunshine and showers, but on the cool side (not missing tropical night temperatures at all). Quite looking forward to wearing some sweaters, so while I'm not wishing away the warmer temperatures, I really want to crack my knitwear out! As for Le Cruset pans, I have one of their casseroles, which I will never part with, its perfect for hob to oven cooking. You do have to be a bit careful on the hob, and heat them up slowly, as a heat shock can cause the iron to crack. I do have a Le Cruset stainless sauté pan, it's also amazing, and is also used massively - for lightness I prefer the steel. I wouldnt want too many cast iron pans for the hob, purely because of the weight. I love purposely mismatched tableware too, it gives a bit of character, it's definitely part of our interior style as our dining chairs are are four different styles (all black, with a similar height to the backs). The trick to get it to look good imho, is find some sort of commonality and generally stick to that, but with the odd wildcard.
I woke up this morning went outside and felt a chill in the air. I let the dogs out last night, it was late, I could feel the season change then. But you never know, we could get an Indian summer..❤
It was 59 degrees here in WV in the US this morning! Fall is just around the corner and I can't wait. Fall and spring are my two favorite seasons. (of course summer isn't ready to let go, we get back to the low 90's next week, lol)
I have a couple of tan leather bags that I wear over and over until I find a new one that joins the gang. Every few years, I'm a bit of a loyalist to my bags 😊
This was such a souling filling Vlog ... loved it. ❤ I am such an Autumn lover too. I got so excited re your comment about re-stocking of the House of Bruar dress, which I check constantly but the green is still out of stock on the smaller sizes. I live in hope. Thank you Lydia for sharing so many things that fill my cup.
I really loved this video … I loved how it wasn’t an unboxing but using pieces in your wardrobe and you showing us how to put it all together with your accessories.. so informative and a joy to watch …. 👏👏

You lift our souls! Would you consider opening all the doors in your dressing room and showing us how you organize your wardrobe?
I can’t believe I’m gonna say this but your country living content has become my favorite, fashion is now second also I’m here for your change of style. I just had a LMG marathon after months of not watching. Now I need to move to a farm hahaha
I have always said Spring and Autumn are my favourite months but could never put my finger on it. And you’ve explained in just the perfect way ❤️
In Australia we’ve just entered spring, and it feels so exciting for the evenings to be getting longer, and the skies being brighter. The bees are everywhere and it’s feeling more and more like summer dress season ☀️
I live in Tasmania and I'm loving the spring flowers and the warmer sunny days.
1 st of December!? 😂 Lydia , we all can’t wait for vlogmas with the M-G’S!! Come on don’t do the spoiler 😂❤

I realize that time is flying… but … 1 st of December 😳😲😜💐
I think she corrected it by adding the September text a few seconds later 😄
@@ShawanMason yeah, I don’t mind this mistake. It was so cute and normal. We all just human. :) but I really can’t wait for vlogmas :D

I love the chapter idea with each month instead of yearly. I think just like you. Thank you Lydia.

I totally agree with the handbag thing. Carefully selecting pieces that are versatile for your wardrobe is the way to go!
Omg that vintage kelly in red its to die for...and what you are doing with your wardrobe is amaizing you always look put together

It was 59 degrees here in WV in the US this morning! Fall is just around the corner and I can't wait. Fall and spring are my two favorite seasons. (of course summer isn't ready to let go, we get back to the low 90's next week, lol)
I’m in VA, and I am counting the days until full Fall vibes!!
@@noellekonieczny5817 it’s time for evenings on the screened in porch with the fire!!!
I have a couple of tan leather bags that I wear over and over until I find a new one that joins the gang. Every few years, I'm a bit of a loyalist to my bags 😊
A camera for inside the chicken coop would be a great idea to solve your egg mysteries
Nice windy cool day here in California. So glad high heat may be over. Loving Autumn is here.
Does anyone know the name of the belt Lydia wears at 30:07 ? The link in the description is not working 😭
